@jameswilson77905 күн бұрын
In 1976, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were in the AFC Western Division for their inaugural season, but did not play a divisional schedule. The next season, the Seattle Seahawks were moved into the division, but didn't play a divisional schedule in 1977. The Seahawks started divisional play in 1978 and did so until the end of the 2001 season, when they were moved into the NFC Western Division.

Tom Jackson following John Madden around yelling " it's all over, fat man" Shanahan telling Elway to hit Al Davis in the head with the ball during warm ups.. Chandler had his spleen removed from a big hit.. Raiders being pelted with snowballs for four quarters at mile high stadium.. The Raiders aren't any good now. It has ruined the rivalry..

The Seattle Seahawks were at one time part of the AFC West. They joined in 1977 & won divisional titles in the late 80s and 90s. They moved back to the NFC in 2001 or 2002. Can't remember which. I do remember their helmets, though. They have my favorite helmet in the NFL!

Bronco fan here. The team I hate the most in the NFC West? It'd have to be in this order: 1. Chefs 2. Raiders 3.Chargers. For some reason, I've always liked the Chargers, but when Harbutt took over, I've changed my tune. I'd forgotten about Tampa Bay being in the division in their inaugural season. Of course, that was the year before I came along. As far as SBs, the AFC West, 10, Chefs 4, Broncos 3 Raiders 3, AFC North, 8 Steelers 6, Ravens 2, AFC South, 2 (both Colts), AFC East, 9, Patriots 6, Dolphins 2, Jets 1. Now for the NFC NFC East 13 Cowboys 5, Giants 4, Redskins 3 (Commanders), Eagles 1, NFC North 5, Packers 4, Bears 1. NFC South 3, Bucs 2, Saints 1. NFC West 8 Seahawks 1, Forty-Whiners 5, Rams 2. The most dominant division? Lately, AFC West, but the only division where all 4 teams have one or more? NFC East. Buffalo has lost all 4 of theirs to NFC East teams: Giants, Redskins & Cowboys, Vikings lost theirs to Pittsburgh, Kansas City, Oakland Raiders, & Dolphins, a variety of divisions. Would you rather lose SBs to teams from the same division, like Buffalo, or teams from different divisions? Depends on how you look @ it, I guess. 2 of Dallas's 3 losses were to Pittsburgh in the middle of their 70s dynasty. No shame in losing to a good or great team. In Minnesota's case, bad timing, seems like. They caught each of these teams when they were really, really good. I've also heard too, that those Viking teams had either a good offense, but not so good or great defense, and vice-versa. Hopefully, we won't see KC again in New Orleans in February, but probably so. The other teams I dislike, hate is a very strong word, AFC North, Steelers, AFC South, Titans, AFC East, Patriots. NFC East, Giants, NFC South, Falcons, NFC West, tie Forty-Whiners, Seahawks, NFC North, Packers.

Still hate the Raiders more. It's their fans (although the local Vegas variety seemed cool enough...for now). Hard to get mad at the Chiefs too hard when we've been shooting ourselves in the foot for nearly a decade. That said, screw the Chiefs too :)
