The fact he’s travelling in a regular civilian vehicle and not a presidential vehicle or armoured vehicle like a suburban or Land Cruiser seems strange to me and also no BG’s for protection. I thought all presidents or prime ministers travelled in a motorcade of some kind, but maybe I’m wrong.

Can Phil interview some British Army Rangers because I honestly don't know what to make of them? Some people say they're the Army unit to join - the most likely to deploy, armed with the new AR weapons system, and helping to relieve the SAS/SBS of some of their burdens. But others have described them as jumped up infantry unit, a cost cutting/downsizing exercise by MOD disguised as a half-arsed attempt to imitate the US Green Berets. Their selection seems pretty gruelling to me, a two week course finished with a 100km (62 mile) patrol, which is more than UKSF do, but they don't clarify where they do it and in what timeframe. I'd love to hear Phil's perspective of this.

​@ForceRadioHQ Unfortunately, I've got no one in mind. I don't think there are many ex-rangers because the unit is so young. Also, because the rangers are so inexperienced most veterans we do have, probably don't have much to talk about (or much that they're allowed to talk about) so we don't really know much about them. Any chance of an interview with Sulle Alhaji as well? A 3 Para, Falklands & NI veteran - a private to lieutenant-colonel.
