Squid Game is what the writer originally wanted to call it, but Netflix tried to change it to Round Six as they were worried it wouldn't make sense in other countries. Interesting to see some countries stuck with the change. I prefer Squid Game, not just because it's the original name, but the title doesn't have to make sense, it's more mysterious, and they end up playing Squid Game in the show.

There is one thing I don't understand. In the flashback near the end, we see Il-nam saying to the Front Man that he gives over the task of hosting the games and greeting the VIPs, as he wants to participate in the games. But he drops out after the marbles game, so when the VIPs arrive, he could be back, and greet them personally, and take part as a viewer again. Why doesn't he do so?

6:54 it's not true that the targeting system ignores him completely, we can clearly see him highlighted as well, just like the other players. You said he is not highlighted in green at all, but this is blatantly false, as we can see right there in the frame you showed us. He might have a slightly higher threshold (the system allows very slight movement like breathing), but if the moved a lot, he would have been eliminated as well. He took part in the games because he was already terminally ill, and while the rules might be skewed to favor him, he was not completely out of the danger. Being 100% safe would have made it boring for himself too.

I am convinced he did have protection since he must have already seen what happens in RLGL every year - he has control of the system but not the players. Somebody might accidentally or not, push him over and get him killed. Tho in season 2 I discovered that the gun windows are manned with a sniper and the doll is only there to detects movement and calls out numbers, the whole process was bot automatic. So 001 won't be shot dead immidietly if his number was ever called, the snipers will just ignore the call and because of the chaos, no one will suspect why he didn't get killed but only focus on staying alive (You will be right if that's the case). And yes it's true playing a deadlygame knowing you will be safe regardless isn't fun but lose bcs of someone else even tho you performed well isn't fun either, he must be safe in the first game to enjoy the others too.

They end up finding the winners from each group and asking them what happened to the other 400+ people they were with and how did they come into so much money ? Thats how I would do it. Games I would recommend - red light , green light. (Everyone knows it and it should be the first game in every country. It would also be a good way to build tension in the game. (Have two sets of teams and the team with the most hits win. Other teams get eliminated ) - hide and seek. ( in America this is very popular. Have teams and different sets each game so players can’t hide in the same places. Have the guards looking for players in a certain time frame.
