How? The promotion/relegation system benefits the rich teams that can afford to pay out high salaries annually. It's not about merit. The teams that can afford to stay in the top flight stay up, the poor teams descend. COMO rose because they were financially backed by one of the richest men in Indonesia. Money buys success in the European system which is why it's fundamentally broken. The American system removes the financial advantage, so teams have to win by good management, scouting, drafting, and coaching. Teams can't win by flexing their wallets. All teams spend about the same.

Per evitare che allo stadio vadano in pochi e per aumentare il numero di appassionati è giusto imporre un allargamento dello stadio. Anni fa la Spal tornò in Serie A e la richiesta di biglietti da parte dei tifosi era di gran lunga superiore alla capacità dello stadio. Questo ha imposto di alzare di molto i prezzi dei biglietti, altrimenti la squadra non sarebbe sopravvissuta in Serie A (e ovviamente la proprietà ha colto l'opportunità per fare più soldi), ciò ha creato malumore. I have been seeing a pattern in Italy's clubs lately: a club rises from the 4th/3rd tier all the way to the Serie A.
