Fun Fact: Xenoverse 2 has a secret ending just like Xenoverse 1 but the requirements are you have to beat Mira In his final form under within 2 minutes to get It.

easy mode makes grinding 10x easier especially in expert quests that can MAKE YOU MAX LVL IN LIKE 2 HOURS with the right setup of course. so i get why they start charging you.

I think what i gathered from the game about time travel is that there are two different types of it. The one Trunks used creates new timelines and doesn't effect the one he is from. The one the Time Patrolers use and the Demons for timeline meddling which make the scrolls react would change everything. But if the Time Patrolers change it back "close enough" as it was befor and after they have returned to the Time Nest, then the timeline returns just like how it was befor which means the TPs were never there, thats why no one remembers them when they return. Oh yeah, then there is Fu who just creates pocket dimensions of time snippets which don't effect anything so he can make his "What if" scenarios. I know, still confusing, but its the best way i can put it.

I'm not the biggest fan of Xenoverse 2 due to it's simplified combat/counter mechanics but I'm definitely here for this. Lets go! Your retrospectives are the best on KZbin and your personality is infectious. Game should've had your character fuse with it's XV 1 character.

I'd like to imagine that the way Xenoverse/Heroes rules work similarly to my own personal story I'm writing in which the results differ depending on how time travel is achieved. Trunks' interference via time machine creates alternative timelines vs Towa, Mira, and Supreme Kai of Time using actual temporal/magic/divine intervention that actually alters events instead of simply creating a new branching timeline.

Well, what Towa, Mira, and Deimgra did was alter the main timeline. That didn't create alternative ones, but actually change the history of the sacred timeline. What Trunks did was create a branching timeline, which while still bad, was always supposed to happen.

I believe that's about right, Chronoa's (the Kai of times canon name) time machine actually changes history as opposed to the flawed form of time travel Bulma employed, which birthed multiple timelines. So, there isn't actually any overlap between X1 events and X2 events since history was fixed at that point, the act of time traveling using the Time Patrol's methods isn't counted as a historical event in the same way as Trunks arriving to kill Freeza did at the beginning of the Android Arc.

It's crazy to think this game is still getting support when during the leadup to it, people were honestly debating whether it would get a 360 and PS3 launch like Xenoverse 1 did. And then there's the fact that the big pre-order incentive was base form Goku Black. Not even Rose, base form. Because that's all we'd seen even in the sub at the time.

I admit i clicked on and sat through the video expecting it to get to all the wild DLC ive missed but this was fun too As for why the final boss Mira wasnt like the Expert Raids...its because Expert Raids werent a thing at launch! That was something added years later. And yes it would fit perfectly for that fight

Bardock in this game truly showed how the most overpowered martial art technique in the DBZ universe is the Full Nelson. Mira went full on panic mode when he got stuck within the Saiyan's arms. Unfortunate that Goku only saw its potential against Raditz and then refused to ever use it again. I guess using it was akin to cheating in his eyes. It is also one of the few techniques our avatar character can't learn for game balancing reasons.

As far as creating new timelines, it's not quite that way. The game makes a few comments to sort of hand wave it all away, but by setting events to the way they were supposed to be (mostly) the split timelines will reconverge and be absorbed back/ collapse into the original timeline/s. So basically these events don't happen, yet they do... because the timelines of Conton City and Towa but they're like outside of regular time. Parallel Quests are distortions that bring reality to possibilities within like their own contained space time bubbles. Which makes the few missions where you have to protect an NPC not really make sense, as they're going to cease to exist anyways. The game just asks the player to "just go with it" for the sake of having the game's premise work, and don't think about it too hard.

For Xenoverse 2 it originally doesn't happen lore wise because it would actually cause the destruction of the universe. So in practice couldn't be done In SDBH however the world works differently. For example in X2 if The Time Nest goes so does everything else. However in SDBHs Aios, Supreme Kai or Time l's Mentor destroys it herself. But with Daima coming out later one that may change

I see you consider the bad endings to be the canon version when it comes to the main story. The good ending for 2 has the player use Dragon Fist to kill Mira on their own. You get it by finishing the mission faster, so there is that.

In regards to the other time patrolers showing up for fights, it does actually have a form of balancing, it’s just not very good. The people appearing in the quest are people who have completed that quest recently, so some of the lower level quests that are good for easy dragonball collecting get flooded with overleveled characters for someone playing normally.

I still play xenoverse 2 I'm waiting for the new dlc that's coming out this month or late May. And I always love how people always talk about battle of z in your comments I love that game and wish it was on ps4 😔. And fun fact frizea race are op they actually gain stamina from attacking. Also female majins are powerful as well in base attack for some reason and strike attacks.

Yeah not sure why they keep pulling in Goku At least in the first game if you beat Demigra's final form fast enough he doesn't show up Here you do get an alternate ending by beating Mira quickly, but Goku shows up at the start of the fight, so he's there regardless

I don't really get the confusion here they explained it's the same Future Trunks after bis adventures in the shows/Mangas and I believe they explained or at least implied once you make sure a event ha the correct ending the Supreme Kai of Time's powers is able to set it back to normal which is why characters never remember you and that's why the first games character isn't there again when you re visit events. Also I love how much content this game still gets its definitely my most played game on my Xbox I always go back to it. Also it was Supreme Kai of time who brings up 18 and Krillin not being able to get married not Trunks

If they ever make a 3rd Xenoverse, they should add to factions, the Time Patrol and Time Breakers. Also give you 2 Hud worlds for each factions base. The Time Breakers can also have their own individual transformations like that demonic aura from Xenoverse 2 villainous' . Become a Time Patroller and fix time or a Time Breaker and WRECK some snit Up!!!!!🤣🤣🤣Always love the vids and your edits!!!!

14:20 as someone who's played the games for over 7 years. these fights are not impossible. its extremely hard to but def not impossible. a better explanation of xenoverse 2 is thats its just a better version of xenoverse 1. theres a lot of improvements. from combo's to skills, doesnt matter. but i am extremely happy you did this documentation. you didnt cover everything because theres almost infinite things to cover. the best way to know EXACTLY how this game works. is if you play it yourself! so for anyone reading this. and anyone who wants to play the game. i wish you good luck and keep training! btw dont play pvp untill you're atleast level 120. people wont show mercy FOR MODDERS/PC PLAYERS: BEAT THE GAME FIRST! otherwise it ruins the game and possibly makes it impossible or just not fun. i suggest you lay off the mods UNTILL you've beaten the full game, after that? happy modding! (ps. do not mod/cheat on playstation xbox or nintendo switch versions of the game i am not liable for any bans/warnings you might receive if you do + its not fun to ruin the game for other players.)
