Oooh oooh. Me me! Pick me! I got the answer! The answer is... NIGH nothing the community asked for! Sure if its the frequency of a certain type of zombie or a color shader sure they so far have done that. But really nothing is in this game, dying light. That some other game does not have and does not do better. I've recently played the first again and it's the exact same game without the fancy parkour and a much more powerful grappling hook and much better human on zombie combat. Every zombie feels like it has it's very own demented brain and agenda. Virals actually follow you, zombies in general just look so much more human and scary. I don't feel you can just add certain animations to a game and decrease the gravity and call it a new game. We say we wanted more of the first game in this game but that doesn't mean this game is in any way original in the things it added outside of the first game. Nothing in this game feels fresh or original. It's really sad. So if they can't make a compelling story, a functional gameplay loop. Bounties, working vendors where you can spend your loads of old world cash. Find a use for their hand crafter weapon designs the moment after you get legendary weapons with the korek charm. Idk what to tell you chief. If you can't make nothing new, and no you dont have to reinvent the wheel to make a car. You better add as much stuff as you can, as much working stuff you can to give the player as much agency as possible. Guns, Combat animations, key bindings. Skills, cosmetics. (Waframe is 70% making your frame look pretty and unique) Exiting enemies with rewards that are useable or consumable or tradeable.

What I wish for maps is some more Overgrowth for the city... Or rather a forest area like at the beginning of the game! Which might be happening with mods... I always found the beginning scary because you can hear zombies in the woods. And the feeling anything can pop out is great... Especially if they bring back animal's...now imagine walking through the forest then you hear a howler! And a chase starts it's perfect! (Sorry if it's hard to read lol)

the prologue was 10/10 for me, it was just perfect.. i had the walking dead vibes and goosebumps when hearing the Ambient music at the villa.. unfortunately the rest of the game didnt catch that vibe at all.. it felt like a completely different game mid campaign.. thats where you can feel the trouble during developement, the game lost its identity..i hope We get some chill out open world dlcs with focus on survival and zombies... i want to enjoy the beauty of an apocalypse, the Melancholic feel of lonelyness mixed with fear and safety at every corner.. one thing i like at the main game is the fact that life grows on rooftops because zombies cannot really reach.. but at the same time it makes gameplay wise no sense because night time is so boring and missing fear at all.. infected should try to raid the safe zones, at least they should try.. imagine special infected climb the buildings and try to enter safezones... instead they just spawn lifeless at the same points and do not even roam Naturally through the map.. this game had so much Potential but in the end its just a half baked Product with missed Opportunities...

One small fix to the game that made it much more enjoyable for me was actually simple, in the video settings you can change the display from normal to a few other settings, if you set it on normal+dark it gives the game that much needed night time horror aspect, and a true dark feel to the game, colors are more vibrant, you can’t see anything at night without the light period, unless your flying above the city, it makes chases and night fights much harder and more intense check it out guys, simple and a nice feel to it

Well the reality is that they actually look kind of the same to be honest, when we are referring to “looking better” I mean textures and lighting dynamics, so things are shiny, the faces and stuff look more real, weapons look more believable, but on the other hand, the first game was a complete game at release and was only patched for minor improvements, this game at release was about as good/but slightly more buggy than the first, and it’s just now with the new update finally an “improvement” on the first overall, *tried the game after updating this week* still some rough bugs due to the sandbox system but it is definitely way better than the game has been since launch

The Long Nights event although nothing original was by far the best way to upgrade weapons in the game. Taking down a Legendary special infected every 60 seconds( bugged now) gave far better rewards than all the other events combined. The quality of your content is improving faster than Techland can improve the game. Congrats Bro. Your Mom.

man I remember being stuck in a bus in dl1 and accidently pressed the throw button which threw a firework into the middle of the bus, and a volatile came in and I kid you not a shat myself because of how eerie and fleshy they sounded. Paired with the ambience. Now volatiles are easier than sputters, weird right? not scary in one area, the only time I felt emotion was when i turned around and saw one creeping toward me, and the reaction? sneaky Lil bastard. yeah, make it darker, quite and maybe the ambience.

As much as I had fun with the night time in this one, it's true, it's at times very empty and there is almost no feeling of "dread and desperation", actually at times it even feels hopeful during a chase. At this point we can only hope they don't fuck up DL3 and that they make a proper update to DL2, I'm tired of games coming out half-made and they have to be patched for 5 years before being proper, come on Techland, we believe in you.

THERE IS ANOTHER HUGE ISSUE. I have about 130 hours in the game. But any time me and 2 or more friends try and play we experience constant crashes, assets just not loading, complete missions not being avaliable because the npc won't load in during a multi-player session. 100% agree. When I commented to Tymon a while back and he was confused. The Mech Slugger cool I guess. Except it's blue for me and 300 damage. Their rewards never scale to your level. Same as DL1. Except in DL2 it's double the disappointment not only do you get a week weapon, you also get weak outfit. The Halloween event was AWESOME & yes the skin I absolutely love. Every time i open dl2 it gets boring in just 20 or 30 min. If they fix gore, physics and parkour animation it would help Player's to stick to game. Like all activities are same everywhere, windmill are same. Dl2 has problems that cant be fixed by updates. I think techland should move on with dl3.

I'm still having more suggestions for the game, specially for nighttime: More autonomy to NPCs (not necessarily depending of the player presence), darker ambience and more and aggressive virals and volatiles. About the DLC, I'm not excited that all bc the most annoying bug in the Co-op mode: The windows blue death screen... If Techland don't fix the issues, the people hardly will want to play the arena..... And yes, they should fix the another annoying issues in the game. Good video Oni, and God bless you all. I feel like not having BTZ is a huge factor of the game losing a lot of its hardcore playerbase. It added so much to the first game, and just seems like they're intentionally trying to make the game less dynamic to put more focus on humans. It's just disappointing, and I don't have the energy to be mad at Techland anymore, nor the energy to even care about any updates they push out, because I'll just be disappointed again.

We need mod support!! Edit: I’ve been playing a lot again recently. I got the game at launch and have beat it three times over now. But after the second time, I really stopped playing because I felt like I’ve done everything. And now I’ve been back on and doing more stuff and have been enjoying my time. I finally upgraded all of my weapon mods and everything. I’ve been doing the huntress missions a lot. They’ve been fun. The hallow eve event was pretty fun but i just didn’t care enough to grind it. The rewards weren’t crazy for me. I don’t care for the mask styles they had. Weren’t my type. Especially since I just use the hunter outfit. But I’m excited for bloody ties to say the least. One thing I really wish would be changed, are the virals. I know now that UV/sunlight are really really strong against virals and they can’t go out in sunlight much without dying, but I wish there was a daytime zombie that would make me scared of day time. In the first game, I was always scared to make noise because the virals would spawn like crazy every time and they were actually difficult for me. Also I claimed my Rias commando outfit and never received it in game

I frequently get a bug that entirely prevents me from running...in a game based on free RUNNING , sprinting etc. The only fix is to die and even that doesn't always work so I have to quit and restart. Happens at least once every time I play.

My friends and I loved Dying light. We came into that game late after it was fixed of all bug issues and had more content. We bought DL2 knowing there was going to be a possibility we would have to wait until it reaches the level of the first game. Hopefully they can turn it around sooner than later. I dont think we'll jump into DL2 until then tho.

When DL2 was released i bought the bundle that came with first free dlc. Now that i know its gonna be an arena type thing like the bozak prison, i feel robbed. A good idea would be to add like a in game week calender....and when you look at it in your menu it will like tell you.."At thuesday in game..there will be more Zombies and infected at night" and then "On friday in game the volatiles and zombies will be stronger...they like do more damage and can walk like 1,5 times faster" And then just make a vendor that takes like their own currency from these small events and you can just buying something from him...There will still be the events like we have now...and they get merged together with the small ones

What's happening is im trading it in at GameStop, sick of bugs and crashes, enemies freezing in place everytime they are hit with melee, audio bugs, graphical bugs, etc... Still can't compare armor pieces with preset 3(sent multiple tickets every update)... Right now its just not worth the headache to play it...and the story kinda sucked so ng+ has no appeal, and side quests are not memorable... Maybe be worth it in 7 years... Doubt it though, they didn't seem to learn from the first game, considering how buggy mess 2 was at release, and still is... Developers that release buggy incomplete unfinished unpolished games are not getting my money anymore, never buying a game on release or at full price ever again.

with the situation of BTZ rn, i think they could add another way to play pvp, like, fights between the pks/survivors/ renegades, team deathmatchs or even a conquer the outpost mode but between teams of real players, this would add content, and with that, i hope they would rework the combat, 'cause in dl1, it felt so much better and polished, things like repair your weapon, or the old modification system

Any word on them fixing the physics of the game? Ive searched everywhere and i could only find a tweet of Techland mentioning that theyll look into fixing it back in february. I picked the game up in the sale and its the first thing i noticed. zombies often dont stick to spikes, the just die and drop to the ground on the spot. Also kicking zombies off roofs is weird, there ragdoll doesnt kick in for about a second and by that point theyve lost all momentum and just fall on the spot.

I finished all 3 challenges of skullface and the npc that i suppose to get to is not located on the map for me. And yes i finished all on gold.

Hearing that they are gonna replay-ability to the GRE Anomalies would just be amazing especially if the rewards were something like uncommon trophies, rare trophies, and even unique trophies. I say this because of all the hours I put into this game the one thing I thing that really pulls my strings is the ungodly amount of grinding. When I say grinding I'm referring to those trophies that you need to level up blue prints, I have put over 300 hours into the game and have never maxed out a single blueprint because of the amount of grinding there is.

Really wished they would bring some zombofied animals. Like wolfs, bears. Also non zombofied variants too, for hunting ,bringing meat to resell. Hopefully they will ad snow as winter is coming. Game just lacks variety

Honestly, after watching this my expectations for the game just plunged. I mean do they not know that God of War is coming out at the same time? Grinding endlessly for crappy rewards is not my idea of fun. I may just rush through the campaign then just quit and give something worth my time a try.

I know this game has some genuinely game breaking bugs that need to be addressed… but if they wanna bring the community back into the world of dl2 why release a “dlc/game mode basically” instead of a new map expansion? It’s not like we expected the following 2.0 but at least somewhere new to explore and not just a singular building…

I just kinda gave up with DY.. I found alot of fun with Cyberpunk. I'm not excited for bloody ties based on the trailer. I will look at reviews and decide if I want to buy it, but I canceld my pre order awhile ago.

3:28 I got dying light 2 when rampage just started and I thought the cutting off limbs and heads was normal like in dying light 1 , apparantly it’s not :(

I’m glad dying light 2 is trying to take steps in the right direction, but the one thing I will not forgive is the fact that I’m soft locked out of the rest of the game because a quest glitched on completion, now I only have a husk of an 100+ hour save. wish I can get this fixed

I wish they would have one of the collapsed tunnels in the original Dying Light' become 'cleared' and open a whole new area in Haran. With Kyle Crane and original crew like Brecken, etc. Dying Light 2 is never going to be as good.

I have a friend who keeps repeatedly asking me to get the game even though I have zero spare money since it goes to rent and bills, he even says the trial of dying light 2 is a 3 hour Prologe (or however it's spelled) is boring and to get to the "fun" stuff you have to play more than the 3 hour's of the free trial. He was this way with marvels Avengers, the division, the division 2, fallout 76, always asking again and again for me to get the game to play with him even though I have zero interest in the game, yet he tells me I should still get it just to have fun with a buddy to goof around in a game even if you don't enjoy it.

i would love to see more variants and types of infected, I want to see infected capable of utilizing stealth tactics, maybe having extra sharp claws capable of causing bleeding damage that drains health over time, and maybe even flight idk, now that we can fly with the paraglider we should have an infected capable of pursuing us in the sky

About the coop bugs, i'm playing with 4 friends doing the main story with then, and we are having a pretty chill playthrough, yes there is some bugs, but nothing that completely stoped ou game
