It was so much fun to beat you and take your world records :) I'll be back... You know i always come back. I love running these games against you man it's some of the most fun i have in my free time, but i can't help but feel there might be something deeper to ratchet that causes us to all get so addicted. The fact it's a trilogy is iconic, the games bring so much nostalgia to so many of us, and they're still fun to this day. These games have aged like a fine wine and I'm so glad i can share all of these experiences in 2024 with yourself and such a great community. I love the stories behind these games and the fact you're still making videos and drawing a new crowd to them so many years on is incredible. Insomniac do a remarkable job and its sad to see the popularity dwindling. Ratchet and Clank are seriously incredible characters and so is everyone alongside them. Courtney Gears, Qwark, Big Al, even ThaGuy. Up Arsenal next then? You have to complete the trilogy right? right? God i love trilogies. It's a shame that the future trilogy and most of the games after UYA were all just that notch down and a little bit worse. But that's okay because the original games still exist and are really fun still. I loved collecting all of the gold bolts, skill points and everything as a kid. It's even more fun nowadays with the skills that ive gained and learned from speedrunning and joining this community a few years ago. I love everyone involved man, everyone is so welcoming especially Michael. It would be cool if we could all play some other games together some time and get a group together. I would love it. I think my favourite skill point is wrench ninja 2, purely because of the jeopardy and difficulty involved. Its a complete shame that it's so buggy, but it's so rewarding to complete, especially back when i was 6 years old beating the game for the first time. In terms of gold/platinum/titanium bolt, my favorite is for SURE the one on orxon above the ledge where all the bombs are in the little field. I love the visibomb step beforehand because it's so creative and i'm so glad insomniac added it. I would lose sleep as a kid thinking about how on earth do i get the gold bolt? How do i collect it? How on earth do i get up there? I almost became an insomniac myself lol. It's awesome now being able to do the midairs from the roof after the infobot and just grab it straight away. I love these games so much man, they're some of my favorites of all time. I just can't help but think about it all the time even when i'm at work or playing music i'm thinking about ratchet and clank lol. The one thing i do hate about the games are the snow beasts on grelbin. I can't believe they created a whole award inside the studio about it because it was that annoying of a feature! Its so funny however they get me so mad. Those polar bears drove me crazy as a kid, i just couldnt kill them and i would always get lost looking for the crystals. I'd run out of ammo and just get swarmed by those pesky darn bears. Ahh pesky bears. I freakin hate those things. I remember when i was walking in the woods with my parents when i was about twelve years old and we saw a bear. Thankfully my dad scared it away. I hate those damn bears. Bears, bears, bears. They're so annoying! They're big, fast, scary, nasty creatures and they kill things too! I hate bears. There was another game i played once that had a bear in it but i cant remember the name. I think about it often but i just cannot summon the name of the game to my mind. I think there were robots too, but it wasnt clank! clank wasnt the robot! I talked to my friends in school about it but i always got told off for talking in class. People used to laugh at me for how much i hate bears. They would draw pictures of bears and show me so i would start to cry. Teachers hated me for it! They used to get so mad and send me out of class but i couldnt help myself. They would shout at me and tell me to stop being a scaredy cat but i cant help it because i just really really really hate those damn bears!!!!! Have you ever seen a bear? There was a game i played before and i cant think of the name but it had a bear and a robot in it. It wasnt going commando though because those bears are white but the bear in this game was brown. Or was it yellow? I dont really remember but i try so hard to because i think it'll help me overcome my fear. I hate those bears. I used to have birthday parties with those same kids that started making fun of me in school. They would come to my parties that we'd have at the local diner and it was a great time! But then as they got older they got nastier and nastier and eventually i had to be taken out of school because i was being bullied and crying in class all the time. I ended up being homeschooled. Gosh i loved those parties. We would all get dressed up as our favorite animals. My best friend Michael was a fox. He loved foxes. He had a friend called Elizabeth. She LOVED chickens. I think her parents even took her to a farm once to see some! I wasnt allowed to go to see real animals. I'm really scared of them. Especially bears. Those diners were so much fun. They had these really cute characters. My friends loved going there too because there was these really cool robots that weren't clank. They were animals! Elizabeth really really loved one of the robots. It was the chicken that she loved. Her dad used to work for the company that made the robots! His name was Henry. Did i mention that i hate bears? Well there was a bear there too. I liked the bear actually. That was before i hated bears. The bear had a name but i struggle to remember that too. The bear was really funny. It had a purple bow tie, a purple hat and it had a friend too. The friend was a bunny! The bunny played the guitar and it was amazing. The guitar was red. I like the color red. I dont like bears. I think there was another bear. Was there two bears? Yes there was two bears! One was brown. The other wasnt white, because it isnt the bear from going commando. The other bear wasnt brown. I dont think it was white. The other bear wasnt white. The bear was yellow. The bear was yellow. I remember there was two bears, one bear was brown, the other bear was yellow. They had friends. The bears had friends. The friends were a chicken, a fox, a bunny, and a big baby! Elizabeth's dad worked for the robot company. He made the big baby after elizabeth and it became her favorite after the chicken. The big baby could create ice cream from its fingertips. Elizabeth isn't here anymore. I stopped talking to her when i was growing up. I didnt see her anymore. I dont know where she went. She disappeared. It was so much fun at these parties. That was before i hated bears. I hate bears now. Michaels dad worked with Elizabeths dad! Thats why they were friends. Thats how they knew eachother. I dont remember his name. michael. Michael had a dad, i dont remember his name. I think he was called William. But i don't remember his name. His name was william. He was nasty to me. He used to build the robots too! He made the yellow bear. The yellow bear had a friend. It wasnt the brown bear. I didn't hate bears back then. I loved them. I loved that birthday party with the bears. I hate bears now. My brother was at that party and he showed me the big yellow bear. I got to touch the big yellow bear! He showed me its teeth. I cant remember my brothers name. I cant remember his name. I cant remember Williams name. I cant remember. I dont really remember what happened at that party. Elizabeth saw the big baby. She was alone with it. She saw the big baby. My brother saw the baby. I dont remember his namne. There was a yellow rabbit too. The yellow rabbit took my brother. I dont remember it's name. It was a yellow rabbit, i liked rabbits. i hate bears. i loved bears. i hate bears. william liked the ylelow rabbit and he would dress up as the yellow rabbit and come and play at the party with us and it was so much fun but he wouldnt play very nice sometimes and he would dress up as the yellow rabbit but he liked the yellow rabbit but i didnt like bears because the yellow rabbit was moving and the brown bear didnt scare me because i loved bears but i was never scared because i loved bears and the party was fun because i loved bears. My brother took me to the party and showed me the big yellow bear. He showed me its teeth. i saw its teeth. it showed me its teeth. it was big and sharp and i got to see the yellow bears teeth. my friend liked the fox chicken but i saw the yellow rabbit and the yellow bears teeth. the teeth were sharp and scary but i wasnt scared of the big bear because i loved bears but i hate bears now. william the yellow rabbit would play with us at the party but he didnt play nice and elizabeth wouldnt come back because the big baby but elizabeth wouldnt come back because the yellow rabbit and henry the big yellow rabbit william. What’s weird is the R&C platinum trophy speed run has a similar strat. The first trophy earned is Bolt Collector. IIRC they leave the game on for hours while they go do other things because they rubberband their controller so the noise gun explodes the boxes on Rilgar in the hoverboard area.

Hey, watched the video and enjoyed it, but I thought I should clarify what you said at 17:23. Its nothing to do with hitting the second to last checkpoint. The game checks to see if you have a value of 1, which is obtained by passing that part of the pipe. If you go backwards through it, however, you lose that value. You're entering and immediately leaving the trigger while going backwards to trick the game into giving you the value, despite being backwards. Also, we don't know if its frame perfect or not as you can get it with relative ease, its just that we dont know how to consistently keep the value. Anyways, I didnt mean to go AKSHUALLY as i understand the confusion and still enjoyed the vid. Cheers

I'm watching this video in plans for getting the Ratchet and Clank collection now that I was given a new PS3 from a state sale(my dad bought it for me, bless his heart) and I didn't realize you could long jump to the yellow railing near the nanotech and just skip having to do the whole glider BS. I remember how it took me rage quit after rage quit to get that f'king Nanotech. XD

If you unlock the insomniac museum teleport from the menu on the ps2 version, and teleport there during the tutorial, you effectively lock out your 100% save file from ever being played again. Please don't ask me how I learned that at 13 y/o.

How did they think you cheated it? I mean I'd understand if evidence of mods or other file related stuff was apparent, like this guy I met on MW2 who had all the trophies for it with identical timestamps, missing only the platinum lol. What, was it just too much faster than previous times? Is reporting a thing on PSN profiles? Can it be disputed and brought back using your video evidence? Seems lame, I'm all for legit cheated stuff being removed, but I would have thought something obviously wrong would have to be apparent for that to be the case?

Maybe it's because it was uploaded under a name they didn't recognize, so it didn't have the associate respect of a seasoned vet. And yes, it was so much faster than the other. I would have questioned it too. But hey, they restored it.
