I think it’s going to be revealed that Shadow Milk did the exact thing Pure Vanilla is doing, stuffing his emotions down and creating a mask, a role that people see. But eventually that mask shifted into overly toxic positivity. He couldn’t stop the mask and take it off so he became the role that he had, and due to the negative emotions piling up….he went insane. He’s probably almost forgotten what he was.

So I would say the Alastor from Hazbin Hotel comparison is kinda accurate (Though to be fair I’ve also not watched the show, just seen reviews and clips here and there). Both Shadow Milk and Alastor are characters that enjoy the suffering of others and play with people souls because they can. With Shadow Milk he turned the Faeries into clowns and Alastor buys people’s souls and they are under his control. And this is where the similarities end. Alastor is inadvertently helping the MC Charlie even though he doesn’t agree with her philosophy. He’s just giving her support so she can bother to fulfill her goal of redeeming sinners. Shadow Milk is actively sabotaging things for the hell of it and isn’t being an aid for the good guys, not even inadvertently. He plunged the Faerie Kingdom into chaos, he’s actively offending the heroes, Pure Vanilla, White Lily and Elder Faerie mainly. Also they’re different types of manipulators: Alastor is more charismatic and knows how to hide his negative emotions: through a smile, a really extended grin. Shadow Milk acts like a toddler, but one that has above average intelligence. He’s an actor and manipulates with his showbiz and faces.

Heres my theory, I have the feeling that he was the last beast to get corrupted. Think about it. This dude was once literally an embodiment of KNOWLEDGE, meaning he was basically like pure vanilla cookie in a sort of way since he's pretty much the leader of the beasts and pure vanilla cookie is the leader of the ancient heroes. Since he used to be the hero of knowledge, it could make sense that he was the last to be a beast. Plus, the beasts are literally named after ingredients on HOW to make a cookie. 1. Flour 2.Sugar 3.Salt (as in a flavor enhancer) 4.Spice( An over is spicy) 5. Milk ( Dipping a cookie into milk after making the cookie). So Since milk is pretty much the last ingredient to a cookie, it would make alot of sense also on why shadow MILK cookie is the last. So here are my conclusion onto how. Since he was once a hero of knowledge and is the LEADER of the beasts, Id like to think he was devastated watching his friends get corrupted one by one, wanting to help them, he probably messed with dark magic of some sorts, causing him to go insane and end up becoming shadow milk cookie. Wow this was long ;-;

Ok, I am not an essay commenter, but I have waaaay too many thots sooo ENJOY MY RANT!! 1. Shadow Milk is not only my fav cookie, but one of my fav fictional characters ever. So I loved a 45 minute vid abt him 🤩 2. His Va is like, the best va ever he’s so good. 5. (Bc I wrote this one later) I totally agree I constantly want to rant about these characters to my friends and I have to resist the urge lol 3. Shadow Milk cookie def has a lot of trauma, like, he’s clearly afraid of not being the center of attention, and he always gets so angry when someone doesn’t stick to the script their ‘given’. So that does beg the question of what happened to him. My theory is that he was controlled or puppeteered by the witches and never felt like anyone saw the real him, just the fake persona he made. And he started to feel like maybe the world would be better, maybe he’d be happier if he was the one in control, or if he was the one ‘writing the script’. Maybe it was even the Soul Jam that started telling him these things. Maybe he really does believe he’s the main character, and maybe he’s fallen so far down into his lies that he’s not physically able to see the truth anymore. 4. I believe that all the beasts have capacity for redemption, and shadow Milk maybe more than ever since I think he’s still putting on an act and suppressing anything he feels that’s too strong, too different, or even breaks the character role he made for himself. Since we’ve already become familiar with him in both theater of lies and wind archer update, there’s much more capacity for backstory and stuff like that when he REALEASES IN JANUARY 🥳🥳

Fellow Nerd Ranter here, cuz Shadow and Vanilla are my fav characters in the whole game. I love that you made this video I was really looking forward to watch this after the Mystic Flour vid o⁠(⁠(⁠*⁠^⁠▽⁠^⁠*⁠)⁠)⁠o I like the fact you are surprise Shadow IS very knowledgeable when it comes to things, since he was the holder of the Virtue of Knowledge ancient power which was split into two due to the five had fallen from grace. Milk holds the hus remaining power Deceit, Pv holds its other half Truth. Here are theories I have for them (Shadow) 1. "The Harsh Power of Knowledge" we know his a cookie of wisdom unparallel. This Wisdom is indeed a blessing to be given upon, yet a curse in the same time for the person who wields the supposed knowledge will search for new and unknown things about the world and the universe which can cause them to see something they should have not seen in the first place. An addition to this aswell people who possess this tend to overthink to much, to the point it breaks their sanity and humanity in whole, not to mention since he WANTS to destroy things he might have known what the future holds for them, in so everything might seem worthless to them because "Whats the point of achieving something if you know in the very end its going to be GONE" Burning Spice and Mystic Flour mentally 2. 30:27 There could be a possibility that Shadow is talking not just about Lily, but about himself too. Its a manipulation tactic in where the one at fault uses their emotional pain to hint the wrong doings and insecurities of others just so that they can feel better about themselves and put the victim into blame for their actions. 3. You've have hinted that his a somewhat "two-faced" character, which is true and i think that goes to his eyes. Theory is since eyes are called "Windows of the soul" and we see that both his eyes are not the same it could be one is the eye of deceit and the other the eye of truth which means he sees both lies and truths, just like what stated. 4. About the part where you said that he sees that everyone should follow a composed script that they have to play, gives a sign he does indeed have eyes EVERYWHERE not just in the present, but in the past and future too which means he has foreseen the future outcome of their action. This is why he also thinks that his actions will end with the "Perfect Outcome" yet he has forgotten that actions can change the chores of time and events (Not very knowledgeable if ya ask me) 5. "All just an act" You guess it! His the clown, the charming host and your oh soo delightful director. It goes to show that he has different faces for different people which some people use as acoping mechanism to hide or surpress some trauma they have experience from their mind or to avoid to be ask and open up about it. Trying to make them talk about the suppose trauma can lead up to no2. as an outcome 6. Why does he HATE pv so much? Well i mean, we can see it because his stole half of his power but what if...Shadow sees Pv as his oldself. "Too naive to believe the truth that it destroyed to very sanity you had left" Im not saying Pv is naive about believing the truth, BUT it is naive to spread something you believe is true without really knowing if it was true or not. This could potentially also be one of the reasons why milk has grudges on the witches for he believed their good and would not harm them (Remember: The beasts creators and the witches from the banquet are not the same characters) this is also factor as to why Shadow calls Pv a liar because well know. The difference of Pv and Shadows knowledge in truth is different which of course will contradict one another 7. The parallels of the two: Shadows hatred for Pv only boils up to bream because their different characters, Of course im not saying your blind, but what i mean is their physical condition... The MAIN difference of the two is their eyes, we know Pv is blind being dependent on his staff just too see while Shadow has eyes for ALL! This is why Shadow asked Pv "What do you know about the truth?" Because Pv doesn't really "see" whats going on in the world only having faith in what he believes the truth to be, while Shadow has already succumbed to the harsh reality of what eyes ever-seeing eyes has to offer. 8. Elder Fairie and Milk MIGHT have been in a relationship with one another. Safe to say this could be true or not since we are still missing "true" parts of the story on how beasts really got into the tree in the first, ones says they fallen from grace the other says they were captured. In addition, we dont really know much about these aswell our information on Fairie only exteneds to him being as the guardian of the silver tree and its seal but we still have alot of unanswered questions such as "Was Elder Fairie baked before the Virtues or was he baked after the grear fall of the 5" or maybe even "What us the relationship between the two, why does Shadow despise him soo much?"... 9. "HOW IN EARTH BREAD DOES FAIRIE HAVE MOON STONE?!" this information is like forgotten by the fandom since i dont see anyone taking about it. At this extend we know that this magic item in only possess by wizards since well..."Moon"stone... "Moon"light Cookie... Surely this magical stone came from the wizards since i dont really think the witches could have a deposit of this in the homes...Unless the creator if the 5 beasts is a witch and sorceress in the same time!!Anyways, and this is the only information we have of the moonstone ""This moonstone holds the power of the crescent moon, emanating a soft glow. The larger and older the moonstone, the greater the energy it harbors, meaning that it can open a passageway to another world.""... "Can open a passageway to another world" this can remind us of cookies we know how can go to other world (twizzling gummy and timekeeper cookie and ect more? Idk) but else does this remind us of Shadow Milk cookie! Yes, he already stated the fact that he can "bend over the out space" (this part is found in the story of Wind Archer going Beast-Yeast) which could potentially mean his very essence is made out of moonstone (mostly crushed moonstone like turned into dust even) since Milk has indeed stated to that out of the 5 his the only one who can bend to the other spaces... But this still in fact does not answer the question of "HOW ON EATRH BREAD DOES FAERIE HAVE MOONSTONE" since we can see in the beast-yeast episodes he given Lily a moonstone, which i was surprised to know this cuz he doesn't look like the type of cookie to even be able to possess such a powerful object in the first place...Unless 10. (An extension of 8 and 9) "Two king into two fools" Like I said, do the to really have a relationship? Colleagues,close friends, lovers? Since I a have a theory that the very moon stone is a gift from Milk himself, since well his knowledgeable at magic, and we can see dark moon glyphs at Pv's souls abyssal regret which are also with shadows eyes. Yes i will believe in this till January ( Im very happy his coming to at my B-day o⁠(⁠(⁠*⁠^⁠▽⁠^⁠*⁠)⁠)⁠o ) as a sign of gratitude or even as wedding vows ( and yes, i also believe their a divorced couple, by the means of divorce the silver tree was their divorce papers) since the moonstone can teleport you into a different place, this could have been use by the two so that they could be together if their venturing of, cuz i think milk was a very adventurous cookie back then. But why two king into two fools? One thing is for sure both Elder and Milk are kings (since there is a kingdom next to tower of truth and deceit) possibility that milk is not talking about Fairie being the fool king but rather himself, since he probably thinks he was SUCH a naive love drown fool to even be with Fairie in the place since his going to the guardian of the very thing that will keep them imprisoned for eons. 10:46 pls his very, like VERY eager to see his as if he wants to confront him about something. 11. Last one, my brain turning into slime... "Souls abyssal regret" place is very unknown to all we only know this as a place where Pv's soul has been unconscious for years but I think this is not just Pv's abyssal regret but Shadow's too since what if he regrets a lot of things, like being to curious about everything not being able to stop himself and his friends from corupption and what if the Milk we are talking to is the Deceit side of him, while the truth side of him is in the abyss for Shadow milk has turned a blind eye to the harsh truth and opened eyes to the playful deceit that keeps his mind entertained from the troubles he has faced long ago. I really want Pv and Virtue milk to have a talk when Pv awaken form will come ^°^ Alrighty thats enough for now, if ya still want to have a nice talk about this lil guy feel free to chat creator .
