Kenny smith is absolutely wrong. Horford is not gonna get 20 & 15 every night. He averages 12 points. Shaq is right

@@mongoslade277 sure, but some guys you know are intelligent players that also have another level in them for the playoffs. Both Smart and Horford are those guys. I think he just means this isn't a surprise to people who've seen them over the years. Others that come to mind are Rondo, Iguodala, and Beverly.

That's because they're winning. All these sports show people are typically a bunch of frontrunners anyway. Let any team go on a losing streak (which all teams do during the season) and these "insiders" and "experts" toss 'em overboard.

@@obama1620 Nah you play whoever wins between Bucks and Bulls because the bracket is set. 1st round is based off of seeding after that even if Miami lost to Atlanta, the Hawks would face the winner of 76ers and Raptors.

that’s literally not possible and not how the brackets work. Winner of 1-8 faces 4-5, 2-7 faces 3-6. Celtics and Bucks are on the same side, so they’ll meet in the next round, not the ECF if they both win out.

He will actually be able to (despite indeed being well underprepared, since 2021, compared to the guys his age on the Cs). KD and Kyrie manage to be so huge that his "just" great defense and passing is all they need around them and this good but small roster.

What a great trade sending Kamba to OKC and getting Al Hortford in return. He is an excellent post presents who can stretch out and cover guys away from the key as well. He’s also a good offensive player us as well. We do miss Rob he’s plays well with Al, they both excel in different areas and complement each other very well. I could go on forever, Celtics are a Heavy weight and we are ready throw down with anyone. LETS GO CELTICS

The Nets don't play defense because they figure they will score when they get the ball. You can see that by how many easy baskets they gave up especially the one to Jaylen Brown before the last basket scored. There was absolutely no resistance.

Skip "Chuck wants to put his foot in his mouth" Bayless. Kept saying KD is the the best player in the NBA because he's clutch, he's the closer. He gave the slack to Luka, Giannis, Lebron and many other guys because they're not clutch. This is KD missing 3 winning shots in 1 month 2 against the Bucks and today

(I thinks last season, I forgot against who but its a famous 3 pointa shot) Then he made a video of Luka air balling 3 point shots before he made that shot, man all he says about Luka is that he's not clutch

Nash blew that game he should have called a timeout during that last sequence when KD got the ball at 3.8 on shot clock. I don’t trust Nash coaching ability

Great game, so many smart, clutch plays. Kyrie Irving is such a great player, but I wish he had gotten rid of the ball earlier on that last possession when double teamed.

Don’t think he would’ve been able to do anything there. Passing it to Bruce Brown? Nah. Dragic? Not really, Derrick White would’ve closed out. KD was covered by Tatum. It was a smart double.

I said that earlier. This same Boston team from earlier in the season. I'm not sold on them. Yeh they survived this game with a bad KD performance. This is not going to happen again. If it does they better bear down on KD vigorously

I feel like Boston's gameplan is to let one head of the two-headed monster go off and lock up the other. Volatile gameplan but it just might work for em.

Kyrie played an A+ game Durant a B...they will need both at A+ every game to win this series...boston missed 10 or more points on layups and putbacks alone in the 4th quarter, I got Boston in 5 or 6 max

They really should’ve beaten the Nets more easily than they did but they missed a bunch of easy shots. Their defense is too much for the nets. The only way Nets win this series is if Kyrie and KD play amazing every game.

Bro, what are you even talking about? Both teams did great? Nets played next to no defense. If not for Kyrie having a great shooting night, they would've lost by double digits. It's also not guaranteed Tatum will play at a high level every game. Tf is up with these casual takes, lol

Great take by Chuck. The Nets’ duo played amazing against the Cavs and it came down to the wire. Today, one of them played GREAT and the other one played average. They lost!

I hope Boston can get Williams back. Stay physical with BK. Any team with KD or Kyrie the physicality is the key. They’re great players but fragile as Mr Street Clothes, Always Disabled.

KD playing with Kyrie really shows that Kyrie is the efficient scorer of the two. For year people been saying KD makes it llook so easy” which he’s does but Kyrie makes it look easier. Since coming back from the restriction situation he’s been a bucket

not really. KD was getting doubled all game and the C's let kyrie work 1v1. typically, KD is the more efficient scorer.

Great game. It is a shame that one of these teams are going to be eliminated in the first round. I feel those Bulls-Celtics series vibes from years ago when watching this game. So much is on KD and Kyrie for this Nets team, it's going to be difficult to carry such a load against a great defensive team like the Celtics.

I’ve seen a lot of hate for Tatum in first half of this season, mostly by his own fans. And last season a tonne of people were saying he’s the most overrated player in the league. But after January this season, it seems like everyone knows what’s up

If R. Williams was playing, Nets wouldn't have a chance. But for them to have a chance, they have to win game 2. They are getting massively out rebounded and outscored inside whiteout the C's best rebounder and rim attacker.

This was a crazy game 1. Anything can happen, but winning this game is soooooo much momentum its crazy more so than normal with how competitive and close it was. I expect the winner of this series to make finals. So celtics digging out a win here may carry them all the way

Guys this series is legit EC finals right here. What a series we have at hand and as a Nets fan feel very proud how we were able to rally against a really top notch defensive team and who are getting better every game. Kyrie cant be coached and the team doesn't have a lot of options. There is no plan C as Plan A (KD) en B(Kyrie) is the only plan that execute. Celts wil adjust and slowly keep getting further away in this series. Gentlemen sweep incoming.

@@demariomcintosh7946 what other way do they have to play then bad defense being undersized and iso play Kyrie or Durant and some kick outs from the double team to for example curry. Celts have a diverse and deep bench. Only thing that can change this is a ben Simmons return.
