"They?"The problem is they(!) don't replay it in real time. If the ball is deflected that low in the direction the player's leg is going in, I understand the call. A hand deflection usually changes the direction of the ball in a different direction. It looks bad when viewers like us at home have the benefit of the a slow motion replay.

Dude made NBA look like a ballet compared to EuroLeague and it's absurd they even call their title "World Championship" when every championship team has lost to the EL Champs when they have played against eachother... They used to be so good I wouldn't mind calling them World Champs but it was ruined in the 2000's. The NBA should take inspiration from tennis with regards to challenges. If there's a negative call against you, you can challenge. If you get it right, you should get another challenge and get your timeout back. If you're wrong, then you lose your challenge and timeout. Teams should be more empowered to reduce the impact of wrong calls against them. The NBA should also find ways to make the reviews shorter, so that there's not much dead air.

I think there should be a 4th ref in a box that has access to all the camera angles and can quickly review and just tell it to the crew on-court via earpiece....the time it takes to review is ridiculous

JJ Reddick is your coach right now and moving forward into the future without requiring an immediate massive contract. He has more knowledge of the game than any of the other candidates, he can relate to the players today and teach them, he's a players coach! We need two real bigs to go with AD (ie 2021 chip) and two way guards to contend with Murry and Anthony Edwards... Demar/Donovan /Caruso/Keli Ubrea/Marcus Smart/Dejonte Murry/Bones Hyland etc. We have picks and assets to make it happen.

I don't understand why you can't just review any play... same thing with the NFL. Chuck was right too that it would only take 15 seconds to see that was not a kick ball
