This video needs to be taken down. This sanctuary does not exist anymore due to a case that is open right now involving the death and suffering of dozens of animals at the Twist of Fate sanctuary. They also lost their 501c3 almost a year before this neglect was discovered by a fellow sanctuary.

Too bad that Twist of Fate actually abuse these animals and Pumpkin is dead and Thea has now been rescued by Red Feather Equine Rescue in NC, and was so mistreated that they hadn't fixed her hooves in years. Twist of Fate is a torture chamber for animals, so many have died under their care and had to be taken by other farms just to save their lives, and yet the Dodo and Twist of Fate profit off these videos still.

No, the sanctuary was shut down and the owner is facing 17 animal cruelty charges. Another owner of a different animal sanctuary was walking over to visit when she found the dead bodies of a bunch of animals that were starved to death piled up in the woods. Other animals that were still living were emaciated.

Sadly, Pumpkin is no longer alive. This sanctuary is now closed and Ashley DiFelice has been charged with animal cruelty. She starved to death so many animals and left them locked in dirty stalls with no food or water. Dead animals were found with survivors. Some of the survivors have since died from neglect issues.
