I've now watched millions of F2P reviews and yours is the ONLY one including advice about use with a wireless mic! Well done! I have the original Flow and use a Fulaim X5 with a receiver that attaches to the Lightning port. I have to move the Flow mount to make sure it's balanced otherwise the motors will work too hard to balance it and overheat. Since everyone insists audio is more important than video I'm so disappointed by all the other reviewers TOTALLY ignoring this aspect!!!

I'm really glad they made the grip bigger. The original is way too small, even with the tripod "canister" extended.

What's the weight of your setup? It didn't look very stable. I understand that the max weight the gimbal can deal with is 300g. My s23+case is 312g. Not sure if the gimbal can handle that?

No I don't think so, you should choose Hohem iSteady M7 because its maximum weight is 500gram

The Insta360 Flow 2 looks great! How would you compare it to the Hohem iSteady M7? I just got the DJI Osmo 6 right before the the 360 dropped. I'm on the fence on wether to return th Osmo for the 360.

the problem i have with the previous Flow Pro (2024) is that as soon as I add an ND filter and a BM filter, the gamble can’t balance it. It would be great if they had some kind of counterbalance mount points or smthng like that.

Curious what ND setup you’re using? I’m interested in trying out the newer cases that have NDs built that I feel would balance better

You HAVE to move the clamp from the middle position to balance the whole thing before you switch it on! I have the original Flow AND a Fulaim X5 wireless mic with a receiver attached at the end of the phone. I have no trouble if I balance it this way. Obviously it will not work with a Magsafe connector. You have to use the original clamp which you can move.

Great review, especially showing your full rig. I have the Insta 360 Flow Pro and if I plug in my DJI wireless mic receiver the gimbal overheats and shuts down after a few minutes of filming. Did this happen to you at all with your set-up? I saw the gimbal's arm collapse once in your video while the accessories were attached.

They are added value in your video with the hell to put the extras on such as a microphone and SSD. I’ve got the Lexx SSD and I’m wondering if the DGI Mike twos can work via Bluetooth with BlackMagic camera app or even the Insta Camera App.

Still only 300g payload, so with SSD, Mic and filters it will still struggle, just like the previous version😢
