The Insta360 GO's 5 minute recording limit. Why? + Solution! (How to record for more than five min.)

Hi 👋 thx for the nice video I just bought Insta360 go 2 I want to use it to record my walks on beach’s, mountain, etc to post them on a friends KZbin channel. So I want to record some what long videos I say between 30 min to an hour. What mode do you suggest me to use? Thank you so much

I want to buy this camera for a dash cam. Anyway i can put the insta 360 go into a time loop ? Like once memory is full it'll overwrite? Like say i get enough cool air to the camera since it'll be mounted on the helmet. And the new 360 go 2 has a case. Like a mount with a charger. So if we had cooling and battery then is it possible?

Unfortunately the GO2 doesn't have time loop functionality at the moment. Overall I think using a GoPro or One-R for this purpose is much better. The GO2 doesn't like recording continuously and will definitely overheat.

The new GO 2 is a great improvement over this original version. Otherwise the DJI Action 2 might be a good alternative.

Can we charge while recording is on? I mean active charging...

Yes! If you leave it in the case the camera will actively charge while recording. I believe you can even charge the case in the meantime for "infinite" power. You should be aware that the camera might overheat when recording for long periods of time.

It's a great little camera. You must have already heard, but this camera's successor, the GO 2, is also available now. I'm still waiting for my review unit to arrive, but it looks very promising! Be sure to use the link in the description of my videos when buying the GO to support the channel and maybe get some extras. :)
