They are not slothful in business. The are resilience. They are the wealthiest in Nigeria. They trive against all odds. Go see where the yorubas and igbos do business. Case study: Alaba International Market and Owode iron Market. The difference is clear. They fix the environment where they live and do business with little or no government support. They own Nigeria. When many tribes are japa-ing to UK canada, US to go wash toilets many igbos are so strategic going to Japan, China, south korea looking for import contacts of manufacturing companies. Schools in Rivers state, Criss River State, Edo state, Benue State, etc, etc, etc. Yorubas sold off the largest number of ppl (other yorubas) into slavery before the Westerners abolished slavery. Student loan could be an economic trap. A beneficiary leaves school in debt with no guarantee of getting any job. Except the loan is not meant to be repaid, it is doubtful that those that get it really have much to celebrate likewise those that don't get it. A student employment scheme where Students earn to pay their fees would have been more beneficial for a financially secure future. My point is, weep not if you don't get any student loan.

Very unfortunate... it will lead the country to no progress! Igbos have a large population. Probably the largest indigenous (in an urthentic census, even by their majority States informal census). They have the most industrialists by numbers and even per capita. They lead in almost every industry, ICT,/Tech, Hospitality, Automotive industry, Manufacturing, Retail, Pharmaceutical/Healthcare, Transportation (including Road and Airlines). Food & allied processing etc They thrive in almost every sector where the Fed Gov't does not have to play a big part in, (becaue they won't get it) including the oil sector ( where they control oil servicing, a key aspect of the industry). They control these industries in Amy neighboring countries as well. Unbeknownst to many, they have a huge arable landmass (which used to make up Nigerias food crop export for Nigeria before crude oil ...like Palm and others). What many dont know is that they also have the most educated population before 1966 and even now (see Jamb and University numbers across Nigeria). The 1st Vice Chancellor of Unilag was Igbo, same for the University of Ibadan. They have crude oil and coal, though they have been marginalized in the spoils of oil well ownership. And other the upstream assets. Igbos have the highest numbers of non native Africans within Africa and among the highest migrant population of African in Asia. They are also one of the largest migrants population of Africans in the Western hemisphere. It is hard for a viable future in Nigeria to exclude the igbos. They are likely the only group to stand alone from "Go" in divided Nigeria. This is the reason for the unjust politically fermented and encouraged ill treatment and envy is happening. This is the reason for the unwarranted inequity and so on. Nigeria has to embrace them and start a pr9cess of healing as a people in a new Gov't of unity, peace, and progress. This is the only way!
