Yes we make gods that are not gods. In my town here as I’ve heard in others as well we have “furries,” young college students mostly who want to be identified as their favorite animal. They dress in costumes and go to school and in town unashamed. Not only is this Romans 1:22-23 worshiping the creature but devolving back into kindergarten playground make believe. I’ve heard this week that a couple of parents of children from a local elementary school have a teacher supplying a cat box in her class for her students who identify as a cat. The reprobate mind without God in full display in our day like we’ve never seen. Without my salvation and the surety of the Sovereignty of God I would despair. 🙏✝️

God is against serving or pledging allegiance to OBJECTS, SYMBOLS, or IMAGES, in the likeness of anything in heaven above, or in the likeness of anything in the earth below. [ Exodus 20:3-5 ] Idolatry is through the pledge of allegiance to the flag and anthem. When the nations play the anthem at the sound of music the idol worshippers stand on their feet and worship their idols with a song. When the king of Babylon the great played the anthem at the sound of music the Babylonians fell down to the ground and worshipped the image of the gold statue of the earth. The idols of the nations are high and lifted up on a flag pole, and the blind cannot see them, because of their unbelief. The US is worshipping the image of the star spangle of heaven. Israel is worshipping the image of the star remphan of heaven. [ Acts 7:43 ] Japan is worshipping the image of the sun of heaven. Mexico is worshipping the image of the eagle of the earth. Canada is worshipping the image of the maple leaf of the tree of the earth.
