Also that team is on the verge of falling apart and not even making the playoffs. 7-4 record and dropping and lucky to not be 6-5 that Bears Hail Mary was luck. They easily could have won back to back superbowls with that incredible defense. Was Woody being Owner a problem then?? Why is it a problem now?? The Jets made the playoffs a TON in Woody first 10 years they made playoffs like 6 or 7 times and won 8 playoff games. The problem with the Jets is they can't find the right QB or the right coach since Rex Ryan fizzled out. Washington's Coach and QB have everything to do with their turnaround and the turnaround isn't even that impressive yet. They should be 6-5 the Hail Mary was pure luck and even at 7-4 dont count them in as a playoff team just yet they might miss playoffs even at 10-7 if they lose tiebreakers. having a "good owner" is just a media story to prop up and worship the people they like and to denigrate and attack the people they don't like. Kraft was supposedly a great owner and the media hyped him up.....then he did some weird sexual stuff and started to say nasty things about Belichick and all of a sudden the media hates him and he's a fool now. He's literally the exact same guy but he went from hero to bad guy.....now the Pats being bad is on him lmaoooooo. What a joke. All nonsense, all media narratives.

Don makes a good point about the owners. But smart, successful people hire smarter people than themselves and allow them to work. Johnson hires the wrong people and inserts himself into the process. The Jets will never be successful under Johnson.
