I haven’t fact-checked this so some information might be different since the article was published. According to a New York Post article from July 26, 2023, the project is located in Shenyang China and is called the “State Guest Mansions.” It was supposed to be a luxury complex for multimillionaires. A company called Greenland Group abandoned their plans to build 260 villas on the plot. The article then mentions that farmers reclaimed the land, with a 45-year-old farmer named Guo blaming “official corruption.” Guo then said that government funding was cut off and authorities cracked down on uncontrolled developments leaving the project half-finished. The article also adds that abandoned developments are a common issue in China and a term was created called “Rotten-tail homes”. The post finishes by saying one Shanghai-based research group found that as of June 2023, nearly 4% of housing projects across China or approximately 2.5 billion square feet of real estate was left unfinished.

Everything is not fake. It is just staged, so a potential buyer can have a vision of what it could look like when they decorate. You wouldn't just leave expensive wine just sitting there.

Probably it's a company that owns it, maybe like a Chinese holding company. It was such massive undertaking, it's hard to imagine one person owns it.

Of course it's being maintained. There's no way the inside would still be in such spotless, dustless, and beautiful condition with no maintenance for 9 yrs! Just because no one actively occupies a home or property, doesn't mean no one still owns it. All properties are always owned by someone or some entity, whether it's a private person/company or the govt. Nothing is truly abandoned.
@ticktockgod90032 ай бұрын
@@prima808 In this case its for sure maintained . Just for showing that private photo on table without even blur. Or mold on floor for later sell of mansion what can have influence on price, they can be sued for millions . Not saying about that they get into some one property without permission. It doesn`t matter how big the house is or beautiful. Crime is a crime. Even those shoes can be signed by somebody and cost thousands of dollars who knows. And if they disappear who they gonna blame. After this vid if some one will be influenced to repeat this journey with bad intentions. Right way is asking owner to visit. And every one will enjoy the beauty of this house same way, maybe even with better shots.

While Americans are criticized for enjoying large living spaces and people are encouraged to ride a bike to work and save more energy by living in massive apartment complexes, I'm guessing this is what those behind the scenes intend to have for themselves.

Hello lots of love from Turkiye! There is an abondened TV tower in Beylikdüzü, Istanbul named Endem TV tower. Yeah maybe it is not a huge space to explore but entering it or discovering what is on top (there is an abondened restourant on top) may be interesting also it is near Marmara sea so it has awsome view that worth to see. Someone has entered there before and post some shots but it wasnt detailed... Finally it is one of my dream to climb that tower so if you decide to visit that tower i would be glad to come with you. :) BTW also for advice There is an huge abondened orphange in Büyük ada which is a big island in Istanbul. It is i guess one of the biggest wooden building in the world, it can be interesting content. But some people who tried to visit there said, securty is big problem...

If this is done without permission, and you show this video to the world showing breaking and entering and several other laws being broken, they can easily find you and arrest you, why would you do that? Unless you had permission to explore the property. Imo it'd be pretty stupid to showcase your crime. Even though you don't damage anything, all the mold and damage to the place could have harmed you and what if it collapsed? I'm wondering if they halted building bc of a water issue that was overlooked or found?
