You can tell who is a true FF7 gang when they instantly recognize FF7 menu sound. Maximilian Dood was not only known for being a fighting game guy but also one of the BIGGEST FF7 fanboy. No foreshadow could pass this man FF7 radar. When he heard the bombing mission OST in Cloud for Smash, you could tell how many times he played the game.

I've played and finished 7 multiple times, although I admit I love IX more, and I do recognize the sound effect when I am looking for it, but I have to admit that I don't know if I'd have recognized it otherwise, it would sound very familiar but whether I would instantly know where from? I don't even know If I'd recognize that for FFIX, and I love that more than any other game, or any other piece of media save LotR.

The only game where showcasing like the first few hrs of content from the main game and just a single character in the vast universe of FF VII larger cast, can get the fans this excited. When a full blown trailer gets released with over world map travel, summons, more battle system magic on display, exploration of city hubs or the dune buggy. I had mixed feelings about the FF7 remake especially when it came to the voice acting. When i played FF7 and other rpgs that have no voice actors when i read the text my imagination puts the voice to the words. I was expecting to be disappointed a bit by the voice acting but after hearing Aeris/ Aerith's voice i was content. Seeing her i fell in love all over again but at the same time know i have to experience the horror of watching her die all over again. As funny as some of the reactions in this video are i have no room to talk because i was reacting the same way. FF7 isn't just another videogame, it's a special moment in the lives of the fans of this epic story.
