To those who are confused, the Super Shotgun’s basically, in Civvie 11’s words “If Batman was a gun”. The BFG, which is the last weapon you obtain in the original via Pandemonium or Tricks and Traps in 2, is, at it’s name implies, a big F*CKING gun. Not for certain how someone would confuse a small, but powerful shotgun for the greatest big weapon ever within the games (aside from the Unmaker/Unmakyr in ‘97 and Eternal), but… *yikes*

We're not fighting the ancients on Dark Age. The trailer shows you fighting Titans, and even then you get to see them up and about in Eternal and DLCs. The Ancients were massive beasts of Argenta History, which are extinct.

The ancients were basically gigantic beasts that the Wraith created with the Wraithcall, and their extinction meant the Argenta's dominion over Argent D'Nur. Those beasts were NOT the wraiths. We see wraiths several times over the games.
