I'm on the Autism and ADD spectrums high-functional but still had problems with problem solving for a while. And when my doctor heard I played video games they suggested the series to me. It wasn't the sole reason I got so good at problem solving but it definitely had a major part in it. So yeah...our gentleman and gentleman in training have a very special place in my heart ❤️😊.

Professor Layton is my favorite game series... Every Nintendo live, I joke with my gf and say a new professor Layton game will be announced. I was never really hopeful but it was fun to have hope for a few mins. With this last Nintendo video, I kept joking more that a new professor Layton would come, specially after seeing so many new games by Lvl 5. When I say Layton from afar on that short scene, i screamed so loud - I screamed for a few mins. I was so happy that a new Layton game was on the way, I couldn't help but tear up. Thank you Lvl 5.

I didn't watch the direct, and I haven't beaten the series, but the good Professor has a special place in my heart ever since I stole my mom's copy of Diabolical Box as a child (only to lose it before I realized you were supposed to put the corks up the guy's nose in the cork puzzle). The hype is so palpable as to be crazy heartwarming.

I'm new to professor layton as I have the mobile ports of curious village and diabolical box (I completed my first playthrough of curious village and it was a good game it had an engaging and emotional story,likeable characters,Interesting puzzles,Nice animations for the cinematics and relaxing music).

While is not necessary to learn everything, Curious Village on the DS is a great introduction to the characters and story, even if it is not necessary, but you cna also watch the anime movie to see them. Professor Layton is a pretty fun game, but it is not an action one, it is just pack full with little puzzles and it has a nice little mystery and detective case mixed with that, as someone that likes strategy and puzzle games it is great, and even if you prefer action games, the puzzles are more brain teasing rather than brain burning, that mixed with the fantastic music makes this series a classic.
