If you have watched Thalapathi, you know it was based on the Mahabharatha. The story was supposed to be Suriya, Rajnikath's character, dying since it was inspired by Karna. But Maniratnam had to change it that Deva, Mammooty's character, dies because he got death threats and stuff!

BTS has some of the most exemplary good crazy fan stories too. Raising 1 million dollars for BLM in 24hrs, planting a whole forest, foiling a Trump rally, charity work in various fields. It's easily available through a Google map. I mean I know the point was to discuss the weirdest things fans (or as we call them sasaengs, the obsessive stalker types) do. But ARMYs are always precieved as 15yr olds swooning over their visuals & obsessing over them. It's just so tiring seeing everyone subscribing to this narrative. I keep hoping for a day when people will realise ARMYs (the majority, minus the bad apples) love and support the boys for their artistry, music and the message they convey. And we will always try to live up to the ideals they strive for and make them proud of us.
