Where was this in my middle school days? Because this song is so relatable to me. I was always different from the other kids growing up, and never really had a song with lyrics that resonated with that the way this song does. Even if I acted proud of my differences (when right now I genuinely am), I still wanted someone to fit in with in the way I was. It's especially hard since I grew up with OCD and social anxiety in a very conservative small town who casts out a lot of people who are different from them in terms of interests, beliefs, behaviors, etc. Thank you so much for this song- these lyrics will always be special to me

This song hit me so hard when I first heard it, I had it on repeat for months. Growing up in the 90s in a hick town in AZ was no fun. I dressed different. Trying to hide who I was and coming out to my parents and friends was so difficult. Then I moved to Las Vegas at 18yrs old and I finally could fully be myself. Thank you for this song❤

This album was Aimees life, emotions, heart and soul put into lyrics. I could feel how personal this was. So deep and raw and emotional not just this song but the entire album.
