Oh, you'd be wrong! I had the experience of attending an intervention years ago and it was every bit as nightmarish as you would imagine. Within seconds, the victims were calling out their "concerned" friends on their own secret bullshit, so it became a ridiculous verbal melee. Just remembering it makes me feel like I need to shower in lye.
