The governor of Michigan isn’t saying it should be her, but she’s not saying it shouldn’t be, either.

Next president probably gets to nominate two Supreme Court justices. That is a top five issue in who to vote for.

Dems will retain White House, will pack the court if at all possible. Look at the legacy media's recent sustained assault on SCOTUS legitimacy (i.e., they're laying the groundwork).

I am looking forward to reading the Governor’s book. I preordered it over a month ago as soon as it became available to order. This lady is the whole package and definitely has my vote if and when she decides to run for President. She is remarkable

The last time I heard all of that praise about a woman, she ended up burning Libya to the ground.

I don’t know if softball interviews like this are because the interviewer is not aware or they are buddies . But in the below comments I have made questions and statements that were obvious and could have been asked . I am not from Michigan or I would probably have more comments, I was only looking at this on a national level .

Why put yourself forward now and lose to Trump. It’s too risky for her career. It’s messy.

Oh the packing the court issue we all learned about in the FDR days when they wouldn’t rule the way the administration wanted . Back again for the same reason . So the next time the R are in power as a few more ? K

How about protecting the individual 2nd amendment rights as the Bruen case has laid out ? An Ala Cart constitutionalist ? Pick and choose civil rights ?

The Muslim ban you are trying to push excluded , among others , Indonesia . That is the largest Islamic country in the World ! So not much of a ban . It was directed at countries with terrorism issues and they were Muslim. Big difference . Still using that and interviewer lets it pass.

Being an alcoholic isn’t like some statement of coolness, you did the boomer drug. Also you do realize all those old dudes running the statehouse and the media are on the DL. If they are @ you about your fashion (honey like read the room, it wasn’t the dress, they just didn’t like you. I saw the dress btw I thought you pulled it off.

I don’t agree with those guys, but I can tell you that regular people see political leaders as cheats and liars who sold our country down the river. It’s not a job or the masks. It’s all the jobs in the 1980s and 90s, it’s the idea that you do have the power to change society with the masks, but you couldn’t keep Boing from getting rid of whistleblowers, and then the police who act like pirates, etc, etc

Most of the people I know are not doing good. I’m not doing good economically, and honestly I haven’t unless I was working some bs job with no labor protections or real rights

And the like sprinkles of gun control throughout are like really depressing. The answer to a bunch of homophobes and racists who are threatening us is not to de-claw ourselves. You people make me really like disappointed with that, like imagine being so ready to lie down and be supine. It’s pathetic.

Governor Whitmer did not have authority to issue or renew any executive orders related to the COVID-19 pandemic under the Emergency Management Act of 1976 (“EMA”) (MCL § 30.401, et seq.) after April 30, 2020 - the date through which the Legislature extended Governor Whitmer’s state-of-emergency and state-of-disaster declarations; and Governor Whitmer did not possess authority to exercise emergency powers under the Emergency Powers of the Governor Act of 1945 (“EPGA”) because the EPGA unlawfully delegates legislative power to the executive branch in violation of the Michigan Constitution.
