a key note to the starter deck magnamon. you can de digivolve any digimon not just a opponent. so you can de digivolve one of your level 4 digimon then evolve on top of that de digivolved stack and get the when digi wffect as well.

At 13:33 during your combo demonstration, you say you can use the all turns effect to unsuspend and gain DP & protection. But doesn't the card state you can only activate 1 of the effects, not all of them? So you can either unsuspend OR gain DP& protection

No the digivilution effect is all 1 effect so you are able to do both

@mu5tardsa1ad92 then why does the card literally say "you may activate 1 of this digimon's WHEN DIGIVOLVING effects"? If its all 1 effect, why would it tell you to choose just 1? When you actually digivolve into it you get both effects, but when triggering the [all turns] it only lets you use 1, not both.

@@IamTheManWithNoName I’m pretty sure that is just to prevent any issues in the future where cards or inheritables might give “when digivolving” effects to a digimon. Jesmon GX has the same wording.

Question about magna BT-8. It's good that it unsuspends but when would we want to use that effect? The only time I can't think of using it is with the Jamming Veemon. I wouldn't want to attack with any of the others as most likely they will die

if you have swung with a magna which then purged. If you have 3 memory, the unsuspend gives another attack.

Ruin Mode got that -5000 DP carpet going but must digivolve while DeathX is easier to play. Considering a 50/50 mix.

I hope it gets banned, or at least gets limited to 1 per deck. Yellow Vaccine was already a really infurating deck to deal with at my store, but with this its reaching levels of salt that's unheard of. I personally wanted to jump the table on top of the other player and simply strangle him last time I played against this card. I go there to pay and have fun, not pay and have some dickhead ruin my night by playing this.

I'm not entirely sure. I think we need to give it some more time and see how it performs in a competitive setting as well. If the card alone promotes an unhealthy format, I can see it being restricted. But as of right now, it might be too soon to tell.

Bt16 Magnamon X is the worst thing to happen to the game since Apocalymon, why it hasn't been restricted to one already baffles me. I also suspect it will much more of a menace in English print because English print is BO3 so if yellow vaccine have a bad open in one game they ca still win 2-1

@@komaladewi5975 Having played with Numemon decks and Magnamon X decks running around, there are ways to counter Numemon however decks that counter Numemon lose to Magnamon-X.

Going into GX you can slot it(Magna X) into sources to activate the invulnerability ability as Magna is a Royal Knight. Best done as a combo to play the Ciel that digivolves Jesmon on play.

@@oreox1000 Ciel's text says that one of your digimon May digivolve into a card with Royal Knight in it's trait, so does it mean I can digivolve savior huckmon into magnamon x? Does it ignore color requirements?

@@hjm03 use Ciel to go into GX from a Jesmon and tuck Magna into the sources. GX gets Magna’s effect because it sees the Magna in its source s.
