I bought my iPhone 11 a year and a half ago and i am so happy with it ! I have no desire to upgrade to a new model and i don’t think i will for a long time. This device is able to manage everything i throw a it, it still looks amazing, the screen looks great even for an IPS display. Definitely one of the best value piece of tech i bought in my entire life ! Although, if i was in the market for a new phone today i would probably go for an iPhone 12 or a 13 mini….

One of the reasons I switched to Android. I got a Pixel 6a for 195 on eBay. Phone's in mint condition, near 100% battery health. I came from an iPhone XR, and I am very impressed. Aside from the customisation of Android, there are so many convenient features. Like being able to go back from swiping from both the left and right side, whereas with iphone it's only on the left side, making it annoying for right handed users. Having the numbers on the keyboard at all times is another huge thing. The ability to place apps anywhere you want on the home screen. I mean, for 195 this is probably the best phone at that price point. The only minor disadvantage is that it has a 60hz panel. But keep in mind I'm coming from a 60hz panel anyway, so it doesn't matter. Apple still has their $800 iPhone 14 with a 60hz panel anyway.

I swear people obsess over the screen on this phone. And for no reason in my opinion. Because the screen is color accurate, gets bright enough and is plenty big enough. I've had the LCD iPhone screens with the XR, 11, SE 2 and 3. And they all work well. While it isn't OLED you'd never know the difference. Overall, the 11 is a great value in 2023 for the price, support, cameras, build quality and getting the exact same iPhone experience as every expensive iPhone. What more could you ask for?

I got mine Feb 2020. I love my iPhone 11. I expect to keep using it for 2 more years and perhaps get the SE 4th gen. I’m not a heavy user and so I hope Apple will keep offering their base model in the future. If they don’t I might switch to an a Pixel.

Got mine last 2020 just before the iphone 12 came out. I got my iphone 11 at a discounted price since the 12 were coming out. Last march 2023 my battery health was at 75%, decided to have it replaced. Now at 100% battery health. It’s good as new ❤️❤️❤️

But I was very happy with the upgrade to the 11 especially the larger screen and widescreen camera. _And_ the longer battery life. My 11 is still fine though I would like a larger “Max” screen now.

I still have my iPhone 11 with a otter box defender on it. In February of this year left phone on top of my car and drove off senior moment. I saw phone fall off rooftop onto road and skid off road. Did a u turn and started calling phone and found phone ringing. Phone has had several drops and just keeps on working. The phone gets a little warm during summer but still works and battery at 89%. The phone may outlive me. Still using my 6Splus as a 2nd phone.

I do not totally agree with you. The iPhone 11 at $ 700 at its release, does not seem to me to be a better deal than the iPhone 13 at $ 800 at its release. For $100 "more" with the 13, it is an Oled 1290P screen instead of the 820p LCD of the 11, it is 128G instead of 64G, it is a much more powerful processor, it is the night mode on all sensors, and it is especially the same price as the 11 in 128G. It is therefore rather the iPhone 13 that may be for a long time a thorn in Apple's side.

I totally see your point there, the iPhone 13 was a bit more of a “value” phone than the already good iPhone 12 which was the best upgrade to the iPhone in recent years. It all depends on what your eyes are used to. For example, i owned 11 pro max, then bought Samsung S22 Ultra and now few days back i sold it and got 14 pro max... in the mean time i had 11 pro max still with me and the major flaws of 11 compared to the phones these days is the refresh rate...after using 120hz screen trying out 60hz made my eyeshurt and i always had issues with low light/night photos of Iphone 11. Other than that, yeah it's a great phone.

Still have my 11 I got for Christmas nearly 2 years ago. I really hate it now. Mainly because I’ve been envying all these tech KZbinrs and people with 13-14 Pro Max’s. Sadly not financially stable to upgrade for the next 5-6 years. My battery health is at 85% atm thx a lot to iOS 16. Overall it’s just underperforming quite heavily now cuz of iOS despite how powerful it really is. Display is the only real hardware complaint. Everything else is cause of iOS.

Price is honestly one of the biggest deciding factors anyway. Most people walk into a carrier or electronics store with a budget first & foremost, not “what’s the best camera” or “what’s the best screen” If they’re told they can get a new Apple iPhone for $699 and pick from a half dozen colors, that’s all they need to hear. That’s also why Samsung’s A series sells so well: if the average person sees they can get a new Samsung device for $300, then that’s what they’re getting

I agree. I don’t understand how we got to the point of $800-$1200 phones. The carrier subsidized $299-$499 price range was tolerable, and it encouraged people to get new devices every year or two. Now, people “finance” $1,200 smartphones over like 3-4 years, or never actually own the phones and just keep trading them in for upgrades, throw money away by doing so, or spend $999 on a phone they have to keep for 5 years because the average person can’t spend that kind of money again for a while. And the phones aren’t even that much better than they used to be to justify the crazy prices!

Got a iPhone 11 last month. From the other iPhones I’ve owned the 11 is the biggest POS of the bunch. It gets hot too easy when watching videos or playing a game. When it gets hot it will not let you swipe and sometimes freeze. My iPhone 11 will soon meet its demise. And, it might be the end for Apple for me.

To this day, I don't understand the hype around the iPhone 11. It's genuinely terrible, it doesn't have an oled, you don't get a telephoto lens, the bezels are fat af, cheap design etc. To whomever that still has this garbage as a phone: my deepest condolences.
