I remember back then these phones could be customized like crazy! My friend used to always be breaking her screen but whenever she went to get the face changed she could choose any color she wanted! So she always had a two tone thing going on (pink front plate & green back for example)

Nah, I miss these phones. Sure the new ones are technically better, but its mostly preference. I sold my iPhone 13 because its too big, too heavy and I have a iPad if I want a big screen. For a phone I ended up getting the newest version of iPhone SE. Looks more like this phone than the new versions, is super quick and perfect size to carry around at work or the gym. So I for sure miss these type of phones which is why I adore the SE series.

I used to have the white one back in 2015 and upgraded to the 7plus 2 years later. I had a lot of good and bad memories with it. The 8GB’s of storage was my only complaint about it but the fact it was my first iPhone on a cell network I was happy to have it and at one point I had it jailbroken

The 5s and 5c are goated iPhones. The 6 series iphones ushered in the when new generation of design that we had for so many years, and to be fair, the 6 was pretty cool, but the 5 series was truly the end of an era. We didn't even know what we were losing. Ever since then, a phone that size seems ridiculously small. My wife and I pulled out our old 5s and 5c recently and they're like tiny toys. So nostalgic. I miss those days and that size of phone.

I'm actually a fan of plasticky backs. They don't shatter if you drop the phone and it allows the phone to be lighter. 5c was cool with all it's vibrant colors too.

I still have this exact iPhone 5c in the white color as well and even though it needs a battery replacement it is actually still usable in 2023 like some apps if you have a newer iPhone you can download the last compatible version on that iPhone 5c but unfortunately you’d have to use the safari browser to use KZbin as that is no longer supported but weirdly KZbin music still functions on the iPhone 5c

I used to have iPhone 5c in blue. I got it on my 44th birthday in late July 2014. I even bought some cases from Target when I had the phone. It was my 1st iPhone. The cases were $5.00 each and they looked almost liked the cases for iPhone 5c in different colors and patterns. My mother had it,too in yellow with a yellow case from Apple. I asked her to borrow one of my cases for her iPhone 5c. She didn’t bother it. My 2nd iPhone is the 8 in silver grey that I still have but,not in use. Even the SE(2) in white as a backup. Now I used iPhone 14 in purple. I remembered getting my iPhone 8 and comparing with my 5c it was a big difference on size and even losing the ear phone jack on the 8.

The 5c was the best iphone in my opinion, it had the same feel as opening my first ipod nano 3rd gen but also the color options like the mac g3. My first actual personal computer was the blue g3 and thats why i picked the blue 5c. I left apple when the note 20 ultra came out but apple products still hold a special place in my heart.

My first iPhone ever was the iPhone 4. I kept that until the iPhone 5S launched and I waited in a ridiculous line in NYC for it. After the 5S, I went to the 7Plus, then the 8 Plus, I absolutely HATED the iPhone X, XS, and XR. Sinful. I skipped the 11 and got the 12 Pro Max. After that; I was done with the “max” versions. I upgraded to the 13, and now the 15. The Pro Max’s are very attractive to the eye, but also very chunky and awkward in the hand. My iPhone 7Plus was I think my favorite iPhone of all time. The camera was revolutionary, the design was and is timeless and it was thin, light, and durable. AND the battery lasted FOREVER. I still have my 7Plus as a second device. It works the same way it did when it was brand new. In my opinion, I haven’t seen a better looking iPhone than the 7Plus in that matte AND gloss black options.

Weird to see so many people loving it now. I was the only person I knew who actually owned one back in the day. It was a great phone made with some high quality plastic for sure, but I think most people looking back on it didn’t have one and just like seeing the old version of iOS more than anything. I love it for nostalgic reasons, but the other iPhones released at the same time were objectively better devices
