Watched 20 minutes with a degree of pain and hoping the tone would ease. This film is a disgraceful indictment on Irish life, culture and Irish politicians and law enforcement officers. A disgustingly vulgar film that should be ranked as unsuitable viewing for anyone with a grain of self respect. Irelands landing will be hard and painful and is dangerously eminent. God help the few decent people that remain in this country for the innocent will also suffer along with the low life’s that are dragging the country into the gutter - including so called peace officers and politicians. I left Ireland 20 years ago and had never had first-hand experience of any of this. That said, it seems like writer/director strung a lot of news reports and cliches together to produce a screenplay. You are correct when you say that Ireland will have a hard landing. From what I read in the press from the safety of rural Australia the ongoing fueds and assassinations over drugs and territory is endemic in certain sections of the country, especially west Dublin.
