I think Paimon's hate for Venti started with the whole " it's stuck" thing. This event was nice. Loved seeing some of my favourite characters interact. Love that you finally pulled Ayaka. She's my main. Congrats.

I mean, "tone deaf bard" came before that. Actually, approximately 2 seconds after meeting Venti, Paimon was automatically irritated at him. And then at the church, she was already all "sToP mEnTiOnIng Us GeTtInG cAuGhT!" And then there was, "hehe." "wHaT dO yOu MeAn "hehe"?" (you know, "ehe te nandayo"?) Then she continuously was annoyed at him and called him "tone deaf bard" several times. And Venti very early on started to use mocking tones when talking to her, like "Wouldn't be much of a bard if I didn't, would I?" "Oh? And why does our little Paimon sound so doting all of a sudden?" Soon after all these came the iconic "It's stuck!" "It'S sTuCk!" "let's take a detour then. heading up!" "LeT's TaKe A dEtOuR tHeN. hEaDiNg Up!" And while they constantly annoy and exasperate each other, I think their relationship is more similar to that of friends. It has been shown in several scenes that Paimon actually does care about Venti, and Venti doesn't really hate her. He just joked about her eating so much food it was a wonder traveler was able to afford it when talking about Paimon in his voicelines. But I really enjoy their dynamic, though.

Little lore for anyone interested: The whole scara sword smith thing was mentioned b4 the event in the husk of ompulent dreams set and some other sources I assume. basically scara was made by ei to hold the gnosis, she found out he's too weak and couldn't handle it so he was a failure but she felt bad and didn't want to get rid of him so she left him in shakkei pavilion (the domain you open by blasting the rocks). Anyways scara wakes up later and wandered a bit until he met a swordsmith called katsuragi, he was a desciple of mikoshi nagamasa which is another family of the Raiden gokuden. Scara became good friends with katsuragi but for one reason or another it's not entirely clear scara ended up leaving and katsuragi was blamed for something he did that enraged nagamasa who then ended up killing katsuragi. Scara then finds out and then starts a revenge plot to get rid of the Raiden gokaden but got bored half way through and stopped, hence why the kaedehara family wasn't killed off but only lost their glory and why there is one family that remained. Ofc that whole story takes place when scaramouche called himself kunnikuzushi which was mentioned in one of ei's voicelines. Shortly after the whole revenge ordeal scara meets a bunch of fatui and decides that they seem fun, they unlocked the power ei had locked when she left him and bada bing bada boom 6th of the eleven fatui harbingers Either way the man seems to ONLY appear in limited events and I'm sick of it hoyo stop playing with me and release the damn bald under the hat guy I want him on my team

Assumably it wasn’t because he got bored, but rather Katsuragi’s surname was “Niwa” which was Kaedehara Yoshinori’s father’s surname. He realized if he continued, he’d be killing his friends son and acquaintances which defeats the whole purpose of his quest. So, he simply left a message for Ei, and left figuring the quest would finish itself.

@@VictorianGhost7 I was referring to the artifacts saying "That he had abandoned his schemes halfway because they had suddenly become dull", although doesn't mean the whole niwa thing didn't have anything to do with him stopping, my guess he did feel like that but wouldn't admit it and convinced himself that he'd stopped just because it got boring.It's interesting that scara's dilemma is that he "doesn't have a heart" and "can't feel anything" when he befriended a guy and got sad over his death wanting to avenge him. Sounds to me like he's subconsciously denying the fact he can feel emotions just because he thinks he NEEDS a heart to feel, at least that's my theory of how his charachter will play out.

ayato and yae miko have a hilarious dynamic tbh. in one second they are like “ugh this person 🙄” but then five minutes later they are like “hi bestie ;)”. they both like to make people squirm (especially thoma). yae comes up with her insane plans and ayato is the only one who is able to make them real. in one of his stories he mentions that he often catches yae lazing around instead of working and then teases her about that when they meet 💀 he is menace to her and he *knows* that which is why she probably “dislikes” him. ayato is the only one who she can’t manipulate. i personally think they have a lot of similarities but yae just can’t accept that lmao if you want to know more about scaramouche i highly recommend reading the lore from husk of opulent dreams set!! scara is an interesting character with an amazing lore and i hope we’ll see him again but in the main story anyways- great video once again!! i played this while i was finishing this event myself. your reactions are always so cute~

When I saw the video was 2 hours, I was so excited. I love that you took your sweet time playing the quests. 2.6 was an absolute treat for me. The archon quest, Ayato story quest, and Irodori festival quests were all really good. Hope to see more of them in the future. It is understandable you thought of Ayato's quest as boring. I personally really like the politics and mind games in exchange for hype and action, but it isn't everybody's cup of tea. I'm glad to have seen you enjoy the Irodori festival though. Honestly I loved this quest so much. I kinda had sneaking suspicions that Ayato was behind everything due to his connections to the shuumatsuban ( haha, I have theorist brain ) but seeing all the character interactions warmed my heart. Especially loved the fact that Albedo was essentially our deuteragonist for the majority of the event. Didn’t think we’d see him again until December lol, and of course, lumi was as cute & smart as always. Best girl lol.

Hey btw the raiden (egg)'s voice lines reveal a lot in terms of lore and kuikushen (or however you spell it) is mentioned as a voice line. Egg then talks about how kuikushen is the bi-product of the shogun testing which yae miko told us about at the end of the inazuma act 3 archon quest and said that they are the balladeer. Which we know the baladeer is scaramouche

As already said above you can bypass the story quest locking as there’ll be a button down on the left which says something like “quick start”. You also don’t need Itto’s or Yae’s quests at all even with the quick start - just Kokomi’s and Raiden’s. I wasn’t caught up right till the event and completed it without quick start even with not having done Itto’s or Yae’s.

I've been busy with school, but I finally had some free time. I JUST finished the event on the last day...holy cheese am I tired. I started some time around 8-11 am and finished around 9 pm.
