Sir if you don't mind my saying so, that is a great cover. Really takes me back to the days of just watching trains on video, Thomas and real ones. Brings me back to my childhood, to a place where I always smiled. I always Smiled because I had the best parents in the world, My dad who loves trains to this day and my mother who tragically passed away ten years ago. In fact this was posted four days after the anniversary of her passing, Rebecca June Tripp Nimmo. Without whom I would not know the joys of Sodor, because she was the one who bought the very first tape almost 27 years ago. My dad is with me, but we both find it hard to smile as much as we once did. But then I hear a song, a song of something I nearly forgot. No not Sodor, you can't forget that Island once you have been there. No the thing I nearly forgot is in the lyrics, "Follow the Road that leads to your dreams" I nearly forgot that but now I'll try to keep that fire, the one first ignited by my two best friends. If that flame fully goes out I have disgraced my mother, but it didn't go out just needed rekindling. Sorry I go on tangents some time a writer and artist at heart, just as you are I tend to get caught in the motions. Thank you for this video I really needed to hear this again after so many years and your cover is perfect. I do have one more thing to say and it is simply a oddity to my ears, your voice sounds a lot like Junosongs another KZbin music maker. His stuff is lyrics to video game music, I just find it uncanny how much the two of you sound alike. Great no matter what.

If I were to rewrite the song, I would write "all ages" in place of "children" so it would say "all ages follow the dream" as that's what Thomas is to me. Thomas is not a kids show, companies made it that way. Thomas is for all ages and its lessons from each episode are something that kids, adults, and elders can learn from at anytime, anywhere, online, and in-person. Thomas will always have a place in our hearts as even though the original series is gone and ended, the legacy, books, DVDs, VHS tapes, and the top toys live on in our hearts and collects. Thank you Wilbert Awdry for using his imagination and helping his son, Christopher, when he was ill as that shows that you had a kind heart and thank you to Wilbert's wife, Margaret Awdry, for encouraging and helping Wilbert turn Thomas&Friends into a reality from just a little imagination and a single little book. Without you, Thomas wouldn't have existed early-on and develop a huge community to this day. Thomas and his friends are not just trains with faces, they are what Wilbert saw their personalities as from the sounds of railroad equipment working hard.
