The Isle Evrima - First Fights vs Dibble - Horde Test - Dilophosaurus

I wanted to finally fight vs dibbles and chose dilo to be the first to try them.
I learned a lot of these fights and think it will be a very interesting match up in the future.

People seem to think the play for dibble is to stay still and be defensive (I get that people are still learning a new dino so that's not me trying to throw shade) when Metta fended off 3 grown ceratos it was by sprinting and drifting, dibble is *very* agile when it's moving fast with that spinning mechanic, and not at all when slow moving or still. It was so cool to watch

yeah, I thought so when I was drifting at the human structure. somehow I forgot to use it later on vs the ceras tho. like you said, we are still trying to figure out how to play it properly

Super fun to see dibble from the other point of view, they're very intimidating looking as a predator. Dibble has some monstrous bleed, as it should! That was a good fight at the end there. Can't wait to see more vs dibble content! Also, did you hear about the salt water mutation you can get? Apparently if you drink about 2 drops (the thirst meter) full of salt water you can unlock a saltwater mutation I haven't tried it myself, but apparently people have been doing it with crocs and it opens up the map a lot since you can traverse the ocean without issue then.

dibble fits very well into the rooster imo. so fun to play and fight against oh, is it already in the game? I read many months ago that they are thinking about such a mutation. I thought it will come for deinos only tho. can others do that do? like ptera? would be awesome

@@da.mombie I'm don't think its specific to any dino, so they all should be able to? Someone in the discord was talking about doing it and that you throw up a lot in the process so they couldn't have been doing it for deino. Now they just need to add some fish to the ocean and ptera and deino can live there full time!

thx mate ♥ I don't know. dibble is fine in my opinion. even more, it's way too early to judge. some people tell me it's OP, others say it's helpless because of it's bad turning radius. personally I think it fits pretty smoothly into the actual rooster. honestly, in my opinion dibble has to deal more damage with it's horns than a more heavy carno with it's little teeth. so, I'm fine with that one. hey, nice to hear you get a new laptop soon. wish you all the best with your channel

yeah, I redirected my scent there. normally it says Y, because I configured that mouse button to an Y, so the game doesn't show the "thumb mouse button 2" nonsense. but, the horde test messed my settings up. to be honest, I am pretty mad about that they still show it in general. I turned off ALL hints (like hold E to drink and so on), but, that press Q to scent at blood trails or footprints shows itself even with the hints turned off. I wait since 10 updates that they finally fix that

it's venom has two stages. green = your opponent gets a fog which makes it difficult to see on distance. purple = the fog gets even closer and I can call fake dilos. which are hallucinations that attack the victim and do damage. as dilo you don't see them tho. only the victim sees them. you can see it pretty well in this scene kzbin.info/www/bejne/oZ2piWZ4lrOJpMU

Very nice fight with that first one. I've heard nothing about how OP these dibbles are, but I'm not having a problem killing them with utahs and ceras so far. They're a challenge, but not as OP as I've heard. Their attack reaches pretty far. It's like when the carnos only had to run within 10ft/3 meters from you, and you still got knocked down. I do not take anything that has a 5% value. It's too little to make a difference. I took the one you took, but the one for the day instead of night, and it was barely noticeable how much faster I was to another Omni. The one you took for 5% more damage is not worth it, either, in my opinion. A dilo does 85 dmg. 10% is 8.5, so divide that by 2, and you get 4.25 for 5%. So now it does 89 dmg instead of 85. To me, it's not worth it. I personally like the one that larger species do 15% less damage. Everything you fight is bigger than you as an omni; besides omni, it is the same for dilo. So, I'm reducing their dmg numbers by 15%, which is more noticeable. Then there is one that the more food you have, the more damage you do, up to 15%. So from 0 if you have no food and 15 if you are full. So even if you only had 66% food, you still do 10% more damage and even more so the less hunger you have. There is one that you do an extra 10 or 15% (I can't remember) against wounded targets. So, with those 3 combined, you are pretty strong. You are taking 15% less dmg every time they hit you, you are doing 10-15% more every time you hit them, and once you get them to orange, you are now doing an extra 25-30% damage total and at the same time taking 15% less dmg. So, at that point, you can face-tank some things and win. Now, I know you will probably pick all of them to see what best fits you. Those are only my suggestions and thoughts. You're right; you are better with a dilo.

you know the people. I lost = dibble OP yeah, I was considering the -15% vs bigger ones, but, my aim was to fight an adult dibble. 2 x 300 damage is 600 and dilo has 700kg. so, two hits aren't enough. dibble needs three "regular" hits. but, -15% from 300 are still 255. 3 hits with that are 765. so, I would still be dead after 3 hits. that's why I went for damage, because I thought it might be at least one bite less. in fact I thought I will need about 15-20 hits anyway. so, each less would be helpful. dunno tho, as you said, I will try many different ones anyway yeah, dilo suits me better than cera. it's speed compensates my slow reaction time

@@ScottM436 they just changed it to 275 damage and 2 tons health with the sparring update. I think you will enjoy dibble. it's very fun and the sparring is awesome. even if I don't know everything about it by now. just sparred twice o far

Are dilos bleeders in Evrima ? Is bleeding out dinos a viable strategy as it was in Legacy ?

it depends. they aren't as much bleeders as in legacy. not at all. still, you can bleed out bigger ones like stego. but, it's actual power is it's venom. depending on the size of your opponent you need a couple of bites. there are two stages. green, which means your opponent gets a fog around him and can hardly see distance anymore. purple, the fog gets even closer and you can call fake dilos. hallucinations which run after your opponent and bite it (with damage). you as dilo don't see them. but, as victim they run after you and come out of the fog. the problem by now, you can avoid them. by jumping on a rock, going into shallow water or inside a building. but, they will add fake deinos and fake pteras for such situations in the future. so, dilo will be able to call hallucinations of different dinos in the future

yeah, it's a bug, so it doesn't disappear as normal. you have to open it and close it without writing something. then it disappears. but, you have to do it again as soon as someone else wrote something. pretty annoying bug to be honest

I did feel bad for that dibble. in general I don't like fighting weaker much. those who watch me vids know very well. anyway, I gave it a chance to 2call me back and I would have ended the attack if so. in fact tho, me feeling bad for someone, doesn't mean I wouldn't kill that person. I already killed some players which I felt even more bad about. it's the isle. I would consider myself as a more friendly player and yes, I often feel bad for others, yet, I ain't no saint

Hitboxen sind fürn Eimer. Die hängen teilweise mehrere bis optisch 10 Meter hinterher. So oft als Omni oder Dilo/Troodon aus 10 Meter Distant gekillt worden von Diablos und Carnos. Für Laggs ist das zu häufig und das ist echt ärgerlich.

I wrote fake dEinos. deinosuchus. they said they will add them to prevent victims to hide in shallow water. also fake pteras will come for those who hide on rocks. imagine standing in the water and a fake deino comes after you at the bridge it wasn't purple. just green. so, I couldn't call them. well, I could, but, it would have been only screams to distract, no actual fake dilos.
