Very accurate. I logged on and played for an hour. The only thing I found were 4 different dead juvi bodies. No ai, no nothing. Just eating off of small corpses and then logging off again because starving is boring

I've heard that the devs are still adjusting the spawn rate for AI's across the isle. Only the East Plains seems to have an abundance of AI for Dilos and Herra's to feed on.

I played herra yesterday and at the south plains spawned many AI. there were also many players tho. about 10 herra and 2-3 dilos. but, there spawned whole boar families

The plains have the highest spawn rates and the highest pvp action, I find the central northern lake or 'water access' spawn is one of the nicer ones and most there are friendly

@@da.mombie there is quite lot fixing: stam needs more balancing, the roster needs balancing, there is quite many bugs, lag, performance and map needs work too. So lots of things need work actually. Some of the mechanics needs fixing too, there is lot of issues in core mechanics still.

@@Laacer honestly, the only thing that really annoys me are those lags/rubberbanding beside having a ping of 30. everything else is business as usual. you play the game quite long, too. nothing has changed. there were always bugs, no map was ever finished yet, no basics were ever completed, no stats were ever perfectly balanced and the stam is more like a personal taste than balancing. I know many go crazy about it, but, I'm getting used to it and even prefer it to the old stam. it has to be further adjusted tho, like almost everything in the game.

While I don’t think the migration zone directly effects AI spawns I do believe the number of players around the area has an effect on AI spawn rate. That said, migration zones would inadvertently effect the AI spawns since a few people are likely there. While exploring on my own I rarely find anything until I reach a popular area like the Highlands. I also head toward any adult calls I hear in the distance for that same reason. If I had to guess this was done to cut down on lag. If AI spawned all across the island it would likely have an impact on performance, so at least for now the spawn may be tied to an areas popularity to at least make the island seem more alive as well as to draw carnivores into a PvP zone rather than allowing them to solely rely on PvE in relative seclusion.

sounds reasonable and fits to my experiences so far. in Legacy the AI spawned as soon as your hunger was down to a certain point. which I would like in Evrima as well. like you said, less useless AI on the server, busy areas have whole boar families spawned (like now) and for solo outside players should be less, but still some AI as soon as you get very low on food.

well, a proper queue would fix that issue, I guess. their server system is just bad in many ways. you shouldn't even be able to try to join if the server is full. yet it shows 96/100 at full servers and so people try to join, which doesn't work, so they try again and again. I am no dev and I don't know how difficult it is to make a proper queue. but, many games have that since many years. so, it isn't a new technology. there should even be ready codes/templates available, I guess. but again, I am no dev, so, I don't know for sure. anyway, happy holidays ✨🎄🎁

you can report on their discord anytime and they also react to it. to be honest tho, I didn't report this time. during the game I wasn't quite sure. I thought either a hacker or VERY laggy (which also happens sometimes). when I saw the footage I was quite sure tho, but, it was too late to report them. 'cause they can only react as long as the hacker is on the server. do I want to see the name of the mate who killed me? tough to say. in terms of hacker it would be an advantage to report them. in many other cases it can be a bad thing too tho. never underestimate bad loser. if you kill me teno with your omni and I see your name, then I can come back as omni. grow an hour somewhere. try to get into your group and pounce you from behind. others will start to report each other like crazy, accuse them for whatever. many people just can't stand to lose. which is sad, but true. so, this coin has two sides in my opinion.

Im so hyped! 🤩🤩🤩 Finally Dilo was released! Been playing her a Lil bit and I love it! 😁 She is fast, definetely! but i think she lacks flexibility, i mean she got bad turn compare to Omni. She like the mini version of Carno 😂. Dilo vs pachy is hard, i tested it with my friend i was Dilo against my friend as pachy. We both going hard to each other, but she always ended up breaking my leg everytime 😂. I can't even fully envenomate her. But when we fight at night, i at least make her go crazy with the hallucination because i manage to fully envenomate her and she got tortured by my illusion friend 😂😂😂 so hillarious watching her get hits by literally nothing 😂😂😂, Dilo definetely got advantage in the night. But in your case, i feel like that pachy is very sus. He probably use Hacks on you. There is no way she chases you the entire time without losing sight of you. There is no way in hell that happen because pachy nightvision is sucks even with nightvision diets.

I think it will take some time till we find out how strong the new ones really are. we barely have the right tactics yet. anyway tho, I am very happy my beloved dilo is back on the isle the turning rate is really bad tho. I struggled hard to turn vs that cera. on the other hand, cera has a very good turning rate, so, it's probably bad for any comparison

@@da.mombie yes, the turning rate is so bad. And also when im playing Herrera, i got one shoted by fresh spawn stego 😂. He hit me once in the head and Im dead, Im an adult Herrera 😆. I missed my tree ambush and landed beside his hind legs, got punished hard 😆.

@@da.mombie definetely! Its so much easier when they don't know you stalking them, but Its hard, i tried. Whenever i jumping from one tree to another, i Made a lot of noise, they always notice, and not too mention my stamina drains so fast while switching between trees. 😆 But this playable got really high chances of survival. I only tried couple Times and i manage to get to adult, compare to Dilo. I tried more than 10 Times to get to adult 😆. But i think it doesn't count because right now, somehow there is no AI anywhere. Do you think Its a bug?

@@temujinchannel8584 I just played and tried to ambush omnis. totally agree. the noise made them notice me and go out of range. if I want to get closer (jump to teh next tree), they hear me and go further again. even more, like you said, the stam goes down pretty quickly just trying to get into a position :/

Turtles are extinct. Bullfrogs are almost extinct. The new AI spawning system is absolute trash, as usual when they try something new.

@@da.mombie the AI supposedly spawns where there are more players, that’s what people are saying, and from my experience that’s accurate. Also the AI are spawning in “herds” so like 4 boar will spawn, 3 regular sized ones and one small boar to simulate a family I guess. Deer and goats as well. West rail access sometimes has a lot of AI, but each time I’ve spawned there as a dilo and been mostly alone there hasn’t been much AI. Lots of AI around northeast plains but usually lots of players there also. I’m not sure what they’re trying to accomplish with the changes, but they’ve also removed AI tennos as well which sucks.

@@da.mombie nobody can find turtles however, and I’ve only found one bullfrog where they used to be absolutely everywhere, around every fresh water source, and I’ve walked hunting AI from northeast plains to the south plains river.

dunno, it has to further adapted, but, I almost like it more than before. the only thing I would prefer is to get stam back while normal walking (not slow walk). I wouldn't mind if it's only a very slow regeneration. give me just a little stam back while walking (trot) and I am happy

admins and moderators in the isle cant do anything about hacking players with speed hacks and tracking. dont cant do anything abuut it and im sure they wont do anything about it. i have never seen them do anything about it and let them do as they please in the isle. i seen many cheaters and the devs,moderators and admins dont do anything about it

they use anti cheat software. so, it's most and foremost a problem of that software in my opinion. many games face hackers. even the biggest studios like steam and their counter strike have problems with cheater. so, if even steam struggles with hackers, what do you think a little dev studio can do?
