The stam for ptera has been buffed on HT, FYI ptera's latch now regens stam when it has above 20% of its stam so it's actually pretty good but it's a shame that the regen itself is slow when its latched

Btw the change to carno wasn't to reflect its irl size, carno irl as of rn is 1.7/1.8tons - 2.2 tons, it was considerably bigger than cerato which is 800-1.4 tons, they reduced carno bc god knows why, they call it "small game hunter" yet almost ever video I see a carno is getting obliterated by the "small game"(in cerato and omni)

@@J72GamingCarnotaurus is among the biggest abelisaurs known. The one specimen we have is larger than the average allosaurus (even though the largest allosaurus specimens are considerably bigger)

I have zero problems with how pteranodon is now outside of the fact it's so reliant on AI, and that AI is not reliable at all. I can't spot crabs for shit in areas they're supposedly abundant. I can fly across the entire map on a full tank of gas with it, the regen is awful but there's good reason for it. You shouldn't be gaining altitude fast at all if you want to travel far. Take the climb as slow as possible and you won't be burning stamina nearly as much. I can get 7-10 minutes of flight out of full stamina so long as I'm not pressured by other birds. You can also regen while latched and above 20% stam now, which is a huge buff. That being said, it's regen is bad because it's meant to be a check and balance for its ability to travel so far so fast. If you can't make use of your stamina and secure the food you need you only get a few opportunities to find food before you start starving and often times I die to starvation alongside being empty on stamina. It's a death sentence if you can't find the food you need, and as a player who loves coastal gameplay it's very rough. I don't feel like AI should be spawning where there's an abundance of players, I think it should be the inverse. AI is meant to supplement the lack of players and provide alternative food sources. If I'm by myself and no one else is around me I should have options to feed myself, the island should feel alive in spite of the fact that I am alone. You don't get that with the current builds of EVRIMA, and it sucks.

Yea, lack of AI is a big complaint for me about gateway as well. It’s either non existent, or overly abundant in a few spots lol.

Been a small dino enjoyer for a while now, herra, trood and ptera are my go too no matter their flaws. Im just waiting for my boy allo to be a part of the roster for me to get into the midsize dino scene

On horde test the ptera can gain stamina while latching which helps the stamina issue

Hey there I have a question, I’ve been really wanting to play the isle for a long time so I installed it, the only problem is when I try to launch it, it says Direct 12 is not supported on your system try running without the -dx12 or d3d12 command line argument. Do you have any idea how to fix this?

I personally don’t. (Not the greatest with tech issues) although I hope someone else who reads this has a better idea! My recommendation would be to ask in the isle’s official discord. But beware that lot of people are rude there (it’s the internet lol) however you might find a kind soul who knows how to fix your issue. Good luck!

Look i love deinosuchus but they added it way too early, Yesterday i visited different lakes and ponds and in every single one there was a croc, i hope they add allo soon so the croc population will go down a bit bc getting ambushed by a deino should be a jumpscare but right now its more annoying than scary.

There are a few hidden spots around the map that have freshwater that deino can’t get too. But I agree that they are fairly common in the lakes.
