I agree! Night vision is way to good. It makes night much less scary. The hoardtesting notes said that they had set some nightvision parameters to default values for testing purposes, so I was hoping that NV on the main branch patch would look different. It looks like it's not :/

I feel the new latch on 20-100% stam regen is good step, but i still lowkey would love it if we also get a glide recovery above a certain % stamina.

The lack of spawn choice has a few upsides: - Stops players from consistently congregating in one area * cough * SOutH PlaINs! * cough * - Helps prevent overpopulation and spawn griefing around sanctuaries - Forces players to actually learn the map somewhat - makes nesting more relevant since it is now a good way for friends to meet up easily and sidestep the process of finding each other The two main downsides I've seen so far are - Players are now pretty spread out so you don't find others super often (This might get better once migrations are working properly again) - The wait times for the queue are way longer because players aren't constantly killing each other and causing each other to leave the game

Wonder if they have increased the ai spawns? I’ve got around 30 hours in game and have only seen 4 frogs,2 deer and 1 turtle.finding food even while flying is extremely hard in this game

The issue will always be that stam regen. Ptera gameplay is literally sitting simulator right now. 3 min fly to regen for 10-20 minutes. If they fixed that ptera would be so much more fun.

Aren't there supposed to be AI pteranodons now? I don't think I've ever seen any. Maybe I misread that?

Hanging takeoff's are stam free as well, great when fishing, just glide to a tree near the water, hang get stam back then launch again without using stam

Loving the random spawns, I like the challenge of being dropped into it, not having a plan, just adaption to where you are Also some just released heatmaps of population distribution of the map has confirmed that random spawns have had a really positive effect on spreading the player base over the whole map, so it seems to be working at making the whole map more lively so far

The stam for ptera has been buffed on HT, FYI ptera's latch now regens stam when it has above 20% of its stam so it's actually pretty good but it's a shame that the regen itself is slow when its latched

Look i love deinosuchus but they added it way too early, Yesterday i visited different lakes and ponds and in every single one there was a croc, i hope they add allo soon so the croc population will go down a bit bc getting ambushed by a deino should be a jumpscare but right now its more annoying than scary.

I have zero problems with how pteranodon is now outside of the fact it's so reliant on AI, and that AI is not reliable at all. I can't spot crabs for shit in areas they're supposedly abundant. I can fly across the entire map on a full tank of gas with it, the regen is awful but there's good reason for it. You shouldn't be gaining altitude fast at all if you want to travel far. Take the climb as slow as possible and you won't be burning stamina nearly as much. I can get 7-10 minutes of flight out of full stamina so long as I'm not pressured by other birds. You can also regen while latched and above 20% stam now, which is a huge buff. That being said, it's regen is bad because it's meant to be a check and balance for its ability to travel so far so fast. If you can't make use of your stamina and secure the food you need you only get a few opportunities to find food before you start starving and often times I die to starvation alongside being empty on stamina. It's a death sentence if you can't find the food you need, and as a player who loves coastal gameplay it's very rough. I don't feel like AI should be spawning where there's an abundance of players, I think it should be the inverse. AI is meant to supplement the lack of players and provide alternative food sources. If I'm by myself and no one else is around me I should have options to feed myself, the island should feel alive in spite of the fact that I am alone. You don't get that with the current builds of EVRIMA, and it sucks.

Btw the change to carno wasn't to reflect its irl size, carno irl as of rn is 1.7/1.8tons - 2.2 tons, it was considerably bigger than cerato which is 800-1.4 tons, they reduced carno bc god knows why, they call it "small game hunter" yet almost ever video I see a carno is getting obliterated by the "small game"(in cerato and omni)
