yeah the new engine seems to help alot. They also streamlined the updates quite a bit.

Yea, it seems like it is about twice as fast if not a little more, we also get long horde test periods so the wait is a little less boring. Like there is only about a month between the Dibble update getting relased to the main branchand the start of the current Horde test. And it also looks like the Devblogs are startying to contain more and more interesting stuff regardless if the things they are showing are close or not, at the very least it gives people stuff to talk about.

Can you make the screenshots of what they're saying bigger??? I know you really like the artwork on the right side but not everyone can watch on a tv. On mobile with it so small, it's annoying to even watch. It's not even 50% because you insist on having the artwork show. I can't even turn on automatic subtitles like usual because they're screenshots >:[[[

most people dont really care about qol changes and stuff enough to try them out and reinstall the testing branch. However most people will try a new dino as soon as they can especially with some of the big ones coming.

Yea it is mostly becauset here is no new dino for now, it is better for the people who do want to play on the HT but it is bad for the actual testing. Having like 7 full servers with at least 10-15 people waiting on queue would be better for the actual purpose of HT.

because the game is still boring and you don't find other players most of the time because the map is so big. I jumped on the horde test for about 30 minutes and got bored. I never saw another player the entire time even though the server was full.

Do you have a decent PC, and is it updated and maintained well? Also the game itself being under development and a moving target for optimization has issues with performance which wont really be addressed until it is basically done, which is years away

​@@smefourwhat does maintained mean also I don't have a decent PC I think my PC is pretty good considering that not only it's pretty good to add the main branch (erima) with gateway and sphero and we all know how sphero was my FPS on sphero were 50-60 and gateway is about the same

@@Whiplash-916 Maintaining means Updating your GPU Driver and Windows Regularly, also Deleting the games Config folder after any major update to reset all settings to improve performance

try turning off the setting that tracks lighting reflecting off of surfaces. the game was BRICKING my pc every time I tried to play, and then I adjusted that one setting and now I get a consistent 70+ FPS.
