There's no way the herrera is faster than a galli. That's nuts! Also, although the herrera won, you could see that the carno was quickly catching up to the herrera. Carno has the velocity mechanic that made him have a slow start, so if the test was just a bit longer, you'd see that carno should have smoked all the dinos ᕙ(⇀‸↼‶)ᕗ

MsCatbug PLZ Mad respects for going back and retesting. I was totally inclined to believe you, especially since you're video shows exactly what you're stating. Guess I've been playing survival too much and thinking "carno is the fastest predator" in game, not just in survival. It's cool to see this type of video in the style you've done it. Heres some mistakes, think should be thought as she now knows the Herrara is faster, U instead of You 2x, you should've put a plural at the end of run, and add a the before Herrara oh and that brings me to another mistake Herrera is the name of the dinosaur so put a capital for Herrara oh wait another whole sentence is messed up let me fix it, you've never seen the Herrara beat all the other dinosaurs (Could also put Dino's) 2x, also add an ed to test making it tested, add a plural to time, the and doesn't need a capital, the word and as a whole should be replaced with a the. So Uno Ipeh Oh wait one more thing your name should have a capital on both dare I say names. How does it feel being mocked? No, Herrera is actually the fastest dino in the game at all. Carno is about 52 km/h and Herrera 55 km/h, only an ambushing Utah can catch up an Herrera, although Carnotaurus is still the Survival fastest

Now if only the dinosaurs had the proper stamina to use these speeds. Instead the carnivores run marathons and most of the herbivores were probably at half stamina or less by the time they reached the end of the platform.

The test isn’t measuring “how fast.” It’s actually measuring “how quick.” “Who can reach the finish line the quickest?” vs “Who has the fastest top speed?” Think about car racing games. The dynamics are typically “lower top speed, higher acceleration” or “slower acceleration, higher top speed.” There’s a trade off. In this game, there are three factors: speed, quickness and strength. Herrera has a relatively high top speed and it reaches that speed the quickest. Carno is fastest but it takes it longer to reach its top speed. Both dinos, however, lack substantial strength. But note, Rex is slow AND not very quick, so it makes up for it in strength by being able to deal the most damage per bite. It’s basically the diesel of the Isle. LoL Nonetheless, this is a great comparison video! It’s done really well!

I still think some of the herbivours' running animation is inaccurate. Especially the Stegosaurus. Its front lipms were shorter than its rear ones therefore it wouldn't be able to run like that.

Some of those test don’t give an accurate representation of the dinos speeds, as for an example the giga is the slowest running and ambushing carnivore, you cannot see that because of the way this is done however it is critical when a Rex is behind you when you are a giga and he is catching up when you are both running. Great effort though, there is an official speed chart that tells you the precise speeds, growth times, health and damage of each Dino, however I am sure that most of it will change in the re-work

Carno has the most Stamina, so it would eventually be able to chase down anything because it can keep running longer. It also now has the "charge" feature, in which is starts running more slowly and picks up speed.

The carno is the fastest dino, the Herrara though is faster in short distances, carno's have huge stam pools and they have to ramp up to full run speed, if the distance was longer, the carno would out run them all, but in the short distance of this test the Herrara is faster

Back when rex was slower Tbh rex should had stayed slow just like Spino while Giga should had been the fastest of the 3 Cerato was damn slow before too I didn’t mind since since it was good back then now it’s speed and fragile

T Rex has these specialized feet called the Arctometatarsals, which is only found in 3 groups of dinosaurs, and all 3 are coelurosaurs, the Troodontids, the Ornithomimids, and the Tyrannosaurids. these feet allowed the T Rex to be the best and most efficient long distance runners of the whole animal kingdom, it allow them to be perfect making quick turns, keeping a consistent fast pace for hrs and hrs. T Rex can keep running 12-17 mph for several hours before starting to get tired.

@@gunther1454 If a race were to be from LA all the way to SF, with some stops, speed base animals will have to rest way earlier than the T Rex and go to much more stops than the T Rex, T Rex is likely gonna arrive at SF first for non-flying animals, due to speed endurance, and efficiency. you also know that Cheetahs can only maintain their fast pace for 30 seconds before needing to rest. even Usain Bolt can't keep his fast pace forever. as it also takes a human a little over 30 seconds to even 1 minute before we tire out, but that is still not enough to get away from a T Rex. they don't need to run the fastest because it knows that you'll tire out before it does. That is pretty much the weakness to small speed base animals have to make them eventually easy prey for a T Rex.
