I reserved and it just came in yesterday.My SA is at Saks and said she just received one. I also had her reserve the larger size but that did not come in, but I loved this size. I had tried a top handle mini before but this one fits much more. It is the size of a small classic flap but taller. I, too, love the caviar and how shiny it is. I just checked mine again and I don’t have the winkles around the lock but I am sure if you stuff it they will fall out.

It appears Chanel is bringing back the Caviar leather and quilting from the 90's. I have a Jumbo with a top handle with a square pocket exactly like this. It has 24 plated gold instead of antique gold. It's gorgeous!! Congrats! Your Chanel belt looks fabulous on you!

Hi Olivia! I'd still get this chain melody even if I have a square mini because it's a bigger size. But if you only need one, I'll stick with mini unless you need a bigger size. Depends on your needs. Hope my answer helps.

The puckering has nothing to do with the quality. I have this bag and the quality is outstanding. Not all Chanel bags are made to be structured. This bag is structured but still soft, it’s meant to be a more casual leather, not the hard and stiff version you’ll find on a classic caviar bag. Chanel purposely does softer and easily wrinkled leather on their bags. It’s a choice, has nothing to do with “quality.” Chanel has its share of quality issues, but I must say, every bag I’ve purchased in the past couple years have outstanding craftsmanship. I think they’re finally stepping it up and keeping quality consistent considering their prices are through the roof now. I’ve heard this sentiment from many others as well.
