Glad to see people recommending other Lineham sitcoms. Black Books is indeed awesome (Bill Bailey, Dylan Moran, and Tamsin Grieg as an alternate trio are stellar). Also, wholeheartedly recommend The Mighty Boosh as a showcase for Noel Fielding. Why not check out Garth Marenghi's Darkplace for a confluence of all of the above? There's a lot of interplay between comedies of that day with regard to extras and costars. It is worth noting that Graham Lineham is virulently transphobic. That will come into play in a later series episode of The IT Crowd. I don't believe in totally flushing down a creative because of personal issues, but it is something to be aware of going forward.

This show just got better and better, Douglas Reynholm's entrance in the second episode of season two takes it the another level, love anything Matt Berry is in, toast of London, year of the rabbit are well worth checking out, but there's so many hilarious episodes of IT crowds for its relatively short life, the countdown episode, Roy's massage, Douglas's ex wife, the dinner party, GAY the musical, all had me in hysterics.

Yeah, episode 1 of season 2 is hilarious, The Work Outing. It was the first episode I ever saw of the IT Crowd, I just happened upon it by accident while channel surfing and I nearly died laughing, even though it was near the end! It is today still my favourite episode. But there's no real bad episode of the IT Crowd. Graham Linehan is a comedic writing genius. He's done Father Ted and Blackbooks and they're just as funny. He also appears in some of his episodes, so keep and eye out for him.
