I went through a phase in the 1980's of wearing brightly coloured women's blouses (It was an 80's thing). The only time I ever got an odd look (and a refusal to serve) was from a salesman. Not one of the women ever blinked an eye at it, and the majority quite comfortable in suggesting what suited my style (or lack of it) and what was overly feminine and didn't. I did,. however, have some explaining to do when my children found a photo album ... I say found ... found with a little help from my wonderful Mum saying "Hey, do you want to see what your father used to dress like when he was a teenager". @bartkatastroof6150 I fear you've got your facts wrong. So let me put you straight: Far from ‘losing his funny’, he actually wrote a musical for Father Ted which got rave reviews in its preview performance. Yet it was pulled just before it was to be shown in the West End, because Graham had now become ‘controversial’. All due to his position against gender altering surgery for children (removing breasts from young girls and testicles and penises from young boys, plus giving them powerful hormone replacement treatment). For this ‘controversial’ stance he was classed as transphobic, despite speaking in favour of Trans rights on numerous occasions. Yet he was still cancelled and faced a vicious hate campaign against him which has basically destroyed his career (plus his marriage), simply because he wouldn't support the all powerful woke narrative that dominates our society today. He could have taken the easy path (that sadly too many others have done, despite it going against their convictions). Instead he took the courageous stance and spoke out despite the risks. Anyway hope thats helped enlightened you.
