I Had the same problem with it not functioning on my tv. The solution I found was to redo it to... MS-DOS (FAT32)...Worked for me. Hope you have luck!

Need to spend 2k to purchase this. No BACK SPACE button in MAC. People should not be crazy for such useless devices not allowing simple works which are very common with normal laptops.
