Hold Them Down gets a lot darker when you remember a body has to be in one piece to head into the afterlife AND can't have a proper burial due to being in the sea and unable to be found. The idea of them making sure a 20 year old didnt have ANY afterlife is so fucked up.

@@RandomGuy-tc2gf not the best theory but perhaps the voices in the underworld were just apart of the underworld’s mind tricks to confuse odysseus. “This land confuses your mind” could be interpreted like that. And if that’s the case, then the 600 strike might be made up of the wandering souls in the ocean that Poseidon killed, and the rest of those of whom didn’t get a proper burial. Anyway, this is the best theory I have aside from something like “Proper ancient greek burials aren’t canon to EPIC”, so don’t take this too seriously. It’s just an idea

@@RandomGuy-tc2gf for context, drowned people DO go into the Underworld. They just take a while to cross the River Styx to officially enter Hades. Crushed people, I think it depends, but being specifically in multiple pieces is a VERY big no-no funeral wise, since collecting all the pieces tends to take quite a bit of time, especially if fish didn't eat them or something.
