I loved your video breakdown until the lack of trigger discipline. What you call the 'RAF jacket' worn in the film is actually a British Army Physical Training Instructor (PTI) training jacket. It's normally worn when on physical instruction duty when tactical combat gear is not suitable, such as in the gym etc. It's normally worn with white shorts, white socks and white training shoes. It's designed to be worn during activity, hence I believe it was chosen for Bond during his physical tests. Bond's kit in the film is embroidered with the insignia of SIS, in the military the badge of the PTI Corps would be worn in that place on the upper left breast.

Hey David, my local Barbour flagship store did not have a large Commander for me to try on, so I bought it in XL. I have a 40 inch chest and a 30-31 inch waist. The jacket fits great in the shoulders and arms, but it needs to be tailored for the proper look. Would you let a local tailor do it or should I send it to Barbour? If I send it, how do I know what to tell them (how much to take off and where)?

I can't believe that this video is 10. Desired the Barbour Jacket since Skyfall was first screened in the UK. However, the limited edition designs were virtually unavailable when Skyfall first viewed. Finally have bought the true to the movie 2023 Jacket. Just as cool as it ever was.

Hey I know this is an older video but if you take the time to respond I would greatly appreciate it. Is the Billy Reid Pea coat warm? I plan on buying it for myself as a 21st birthday present and drive a motorcycle around Newhope PA and Philadelphia PA so it gets cold in the winter. Even.Ways Music Truly, even some Beaufort jackets (and the Skyfall inspired "Commander"-jacket, which by the way is NOT cheap) are made in Bulgaria. Now I'm not sure how they decide which jackets are made in England and which are made elsewhere, but the point is that even some waxed jackets are Bulgarian-made. There's tons of evidence of it on various forums and blogs.
