Racism is the top factor, jealousy, and bigotry over being a straight, white woman. Glad you're actually calling it out--most are afraid to say the glaringly obvious.

This is great for America it’ll show the kids life ain’t fair no matter who you are. A lot of you need to be more like Caitlin and handle this news better. This is not the end of the world.

Not the race so much, more so I suspect with jealousy. The ladies in the WNBA can't get over their own egos and see the big picture. Include CC in the Team USA roster and you guarantee millions who will watch the team. You don't need to give her special treatment, make her ride the bench and give her playing time when the team is up 20+ pts. But no, I suspect it is players who are worried that the spotlight won't be on them, but on CC. Sad. Even if it means growing the game, but no. Better no one watches us win the gold medal than they're watching but focusing on other players. Sacrifice the egos and everyone wins. But no..just sad.

Is it a female mindset thing?

I disagree, racism is the number one reason, and the others follow behind.

How is she the Jackie Robinson of the wnba when she is not the first white woman to play in the wnba🥱🥱🥱🥱

Caitlin Clark’s exclusion from Team USA akin to the challenges faced by Jackie Robinson

i think it's unfair only in a sense, given a stacked roster, they don't want to push their golden goose. USA is going to win, that's inevitable. no other country has the talent in women's basketball to challenge them. i dont even think CC has to play. she can sit on the bench and soak up the experience. but jealousy and pettiness is running wild in the wnba.. they're just jealous it's not one of their own (black/lgbt)

I think its both she got the corporations behind her and her fellow players are jealous of her they are mad that they are not getting the sponsorship notoriety they shes getting they should be glad that the wnba is finally getting the viewership that they been needing plus the wnba finally got star power with Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark and A'ja Willson can finally get her flowers for the work shes been putting in
