Years later as an adult I find out more as in he came from the Jackson 5 but never really knew the music. It's been a HARD 47 years since this video was shot. Mike was still with his Brothers so he may have only been recording "Off the Wall" at this point. I was in Jr. High and we had no notion of him going solo, Jermaine had done a solo album but much earlier. No one had ever heard of a Crackhead, drive by, crashout, mass school shooting, only out here on the west coast was there west coast style gang banging and those dudes were actually pretty cool ESPECIALLY the older ones to us Jr High and grade school kids, they were like uncles to us. It was a completely different time and era. Look at the Gangbangers behind the scenes with Michael in "Beat It". Mike like those guys and they liked him, Crackheads were still a year away at that point. I'm 57 years old now.

Having Vitiligo and Lupus on your skin and face had to be difficult when facing a demanding public that has expectations of how he should look. It easy for boy growing up to be a man like that.
