I am a longtime addict of this song too. In 1980 I took the album with me to Arizona I would sit on the porch in the winter sun smoke a little Arizona bud. That 1st "Oooooooh Everybodddyyy!!!" Was so pitch perfect. Michael was so gifted that he had 2 eras of being the greatest with 2 very distinct & very unique angelic voices. He was no question the greatest child singer. He would dust yo grown ass off while belting out your own joint that you wrote and performed because he had so much soul that would hit you in the chest at 11-12 years old. Then he grows up and again has a voice that you've never heard anyting remotely like it before along with a style all his own totally different from when he was a child. He was already the most legendary child singer ever. How could you ever assume that he was only scratching the surface of what he would eventually evolve into and become. He was also the greatest dancer with a style all his own. He had amazing rhythm in song and dance and his feet was otherworldly. His feet were mesmerizing as he would Street dancing modern dance and tap dancing and even with all of that his movements were different. Of course there were others who can dance but it would appear that they would be working much harder than him he was more effortless in his movements. He didn't have to do somersaults and the Chinese splits he would just do him and would be jammin like a MF!!! He was just such a uniquely talented human being. And it's a shame what these haters are trying to do to his legacy but when it's all said and done they will fail and he will always shine. And there will never be another quite like my cousin who I never got the chance to meet, Michael Jackson. Much love, Cuz. Hehehe😉😆

The funny thing is I never saw them as a boy band because in there time they competed with artist way older then they were.Again the during the 60s was in the same stage as other great black artist,James Browns,Etta James,Jackie Wilson ,and many other’s who they were watching learning especially Micheal . All this was before Motown so when given the chance they took .Many do not get Elton John opened for them, they were the star headliner ,that The Commodores opened for them they were the star headliner.We all yes now know these great artist Elton and Lionel Richie even The Commodores but back then they were the stars who the fans cone to see ,bought tickets to there sell out concerts.
