I believe he was always at his prime. Effortlessly putting out number one hits on the Billboard charts. Always writing lyrics, dancing and performing for the world. He is the greatest of all the time and King of Pop. Even the last months of his life he was working his ass off for a new tour he was going to do. His last rehearsal was just hours before his death. He was such a hard working man and did so much in so little time that he lived not living a full life and not an always happy one. Rest in peace Michael Jackson ❤

That "Sound of Philadelphia" is strong in this Gamble and Huff production. So mellow. A very good fit - but Michael was evolving so fast that he needed that breakthrough innovation of Mr. Quincy Jones. beautiful music - timeless mood and tone.

A lot of people underestimate the influence Gamble & Huff had on Michael's development, but I think it was crucial in setting the stage for him to work with Mr. Jones during that incredible time to follow.

Reminds me of waking up Saturday morning to "clean the house" music......OMG.....id go back there. The world today is so complicated and lacks the chance to make moments like "cleaning the house" #memories

That's what I'm talking about! Nothing was more calming than those Saturday morning cleaning, listen to Micheal, the isley brothers confunkshun. I would love to just one time transform back to those carefree days when everyone welcomed you to join the party and dance, drink, and laugh and smile til your face hurt! Thanks brother for giving an old man a blast from the past! Everyone is so stressed and uptight today, and evil lurks within many souls!! As teddy said" don't let this cold, cold world get you down!!

About last night, I lived in Chicago all my life, never have I known a Chicago Mayor to come on the stage of a R and B artist farewell show. I thought that the concert was historic and the new Mayor and the First Lady of Chicago contributed to the history.
