While criticism of Harden is absolutely understandable, it is not true that he never benefitted any organisation he played for. He made the Rockets quite relevant in the playoff every year he was in Houston and was very unlucky during his time with the Nets, due to injuries affecting him and the other two stars he joined. Furthermore, his time with the Sixers was far from that bad: he was the assist leader last year and, during the series against the Celtics, won his team 2 games, including a game 1 at Boston without Embiid. Up 3-2, he was up to Joel to close the deal, not to Harden. Ultimately, I agree Harden weak mentality limits him, to the point that he may never win a ring. He tends to shrink in games 7 and should rightfully be ranked lower than guys like Lebron, KD and so on. However, I still think he gets far more criticism and hate than what he truly deserves. In my opinion, he is still better than a large portion of the league. I wish he finds a way to bounce back with the Clippers, or at least joins a weaker team where he could start expressing his undeniable talent again.

@@QuestionEverything562 Are you seriously comparing everything Harden is doing to Iverson coming off the bench? Bruh 💀
@QuestionEverything56211 ай бұрын
@@onelove472 People forget how much of a crying baby Iverson was at the tail end of his career. I'm not saying AI is as bad as quitting Harden, but they are both going out as whining babies.

You know the James Harden slogan a road-games? "Strip-GOAT is in da building!"
@jordanjenkins167111 ай бұрын
Cheated the game by shamelessly flopping and foulbaiting more than anybody else in history. The fact that he kept folding in the playoffs was due to this weak mentality of looking for the easy way out instead of bringing out your inner dog and killer to conquer challenges. The strip club addiction is unrespectable too.

I cant think of one single thing about Harden & his game that I dont dislike & disrespect tremendously. He has earned all the hate he gets, and then some.

If I were his coach or GM I'd tell him to trim that beard. That thing is both terrifying and offensive.
@leonardofabbri79307 ай бұрын
I've always considered him and his game the ultimate offense to the game of BB. Travels, flops, no D, abuse of contested 3s, ballin' on same spot for hours without creating anything, that ridiculous abuse of usage rating, those extra-steps more extra than the original extra-step, those stat-lines made with 25 free throws surrounded by 5/20 from the arc and double digits in TOs. Russell Westbrook is on same category. I guess not a case they constantly fall together, first in Houston where they re-built entire municipalities with their bricks collection, now in LA on Clips' side. In Houston, during MDA tenure, the anti-thesis of everything the game of BB should be was reached.

Tbh I am just eager for the CP3 video. That guy does not deserve to be seem as not even a top 10 point guard GOAT and there are people who see him as even top 3/top 5. Embiid also deserves all the slander he gets

People love calling him a choker but ignore that he spent most of his career losing to superteams or his teams being heavily injured.

Probably best comment here amongst 95% of just negative people on YT comment about him. People easily forget he went to WCF "twice" while at OKC. Forget how he spent nearly every year on Rockets having to face the era of Superteams or heavy power teams like Superteam Warriors, spurs etc.

Harden pisses me off because he actually had the pure talent to become an all-time great, but he didn't have the work ethic. If harden had half of Kobe's work ethic he would have easily retired as a top 20 player of all time, possibly even top 10.

James Harden is the Larry King of the NBA. Overrated, doesn’t show up in big moments, and always finds another willing partner after, they’ve seen how the other 4 relationships ended. They get what they deserve as far as I’m concerned.
