nothing wrong with that i think, in fact it's the more accurate term, meaning to return to the right path. They were lost for awhile in their lives not being Muslim and now they're returning to Allah. it's just that people aren't familiar still with the term revert. :)

Japan's relationship with Muslims goes back during the time of the Ottoman empire. Actually the first Japanese Muslim community was established in the early 20th century. So if you think it is Japan's job to oppose Islam, they are not doing so well.

Maybe you should research your culture better and deeper before you tell it goodbye. You have a wonderful culture and I am a Muslim telling you so. You know what I tended to Buddhism before I realized the truth of Islam. And, maybe you won't believe me but it's actually Islam which made me understand Buddhism. Learn, study and research for yourself, and Allah says in almost every page of the Quran something like that "why don't you use the mind that I have provided you with, so you may reflect on things". And, maybe you will see that there are so good things in Buddhism like the problem of the "ego" for example that is also referred to in the Quran with the "naf" the "self". Both religions are religions of peace, but yet something was missing in Buddhism for me, which made it not entirely satisfactory for my soul, and you know what was missing : Allah !
