On the same Note , do you have the option to have a separate insurance for your teeth?? For cases like an accident where you d lose your teeths? For example in Germany I pay 17euros monthly for my "teeth"insurance which covers 90percent of costs from a total of 1000 euro in the first year. The second year it will be 2000 and after that it will be 4000, so 90 percent of a total of 4000 euros covered, if i were to have my insurance 3years straight. Id love to know how is it in Japan.

Cool :) Yea I went 2 months ago. 🌟 Take care ✨

Thanks for the comment Light! Does yours need more than one appointment for cleaning? My current one needs one, but for the previous one it were three (bottom, top, check-up).

What was the name of the dentist office?

In Germany usually I dont have to pay for most stuff at the dentist. Overall is healthcare more expensive, around the same or cheaper in Japan? (insurance included ofc). And is an insurance worth it and necessary in Japan?
@JapaneseJourney5 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure I can make a objective comparison because I was in a private health insurance in Germany. But it also depends on the income, so a part-time student will pay much less than a salary man. Just like in Germany it is required to have a health insurance.

Do you go for a cleaning and checkup every 6 months? That is what we do in the states.

I do, but I don't know if it's common.

@@JapaneseJourney actually yes, apparently adulthood is when you are more afraid of the bill rather than the visit itself.

I don't like the idea of the dentist moving from one patient to another. How can someone be sure not to be contaminated by another patient's germs?

foreigners expecting a dentist to speak their language in a country that is not the foreigners' home country (such as someone from the U.S. in Japan) seem to be expecting alot. interesting to learn that the price is low. not that way in the U.S.!

Yeah, it is. Then again Japan is trying to improve the overall English level and there are lots of ads for English schools on the trains.

Well, where I live in the USA, you can have a Chinese, Spanish, Tagalog, Korean, Russian, Armenian, Arabic, (and more) speaking staff and dentists. All you have to do is google it.

Because US dentists has a mountain of debts, high taxes, liabilities, insurances, CE courses qnd etc on them. I can tell you it’s extremely stressful being a professional in the US.

This was very interesting to watch! But unless it is useful to you as a kind of motivation, I wouldn't hold yourself to a rigorous schedule like "every Tuesday". KZbin says and implies a lot about what viewers want and expect. I would encourage you to ignore all that and correspond with users directly. I don't want to think about you stuck on a kind of video production treadmill, trying to make pointless stats rise, or "winning" the gameified experience of KZbin "content creation". Tell us what to expect, so we don't go thinking you've disappeared. But make sure first and foremost that this is fun for you!

I appreciate your comment Kyle. I think so far it is in between staying in the flow of making videos and giving something to the audience (and KZbin). If it's not sustainable I will certainly stop doing them, but so far these short videos have been pretty easy to produce.
