I love all seasons and the mayhem it gives us. It’s what changes life out of the mundane. U just have to dress well for it and have an open mind. Isn’t nature just so beautiful? Our Canadian winters can have this much snow. It’s a good workout shovelling, but the body feels good after.

Way back in late 2001 / early 2002, I was doing some engineering work in Fukuno in the Toyama region. Had a car on the week-end and drove around. Discovered ShiraKawaGo... Amazing sight. I would like to get back when we are allowed to travel.... Winter is the best time .

They usually have electricity even in the most rural places in Japan. I have been to Japan four times. They usually have heater / aircon unit connected to their main line of electricity
